Jamie P.O.V.
"Lani why are you crying?" I mumble walking around the room rubbing her back. It's like 10 in the morning and Jaden had to go to practice so it's just me and Lani. Someone knocks on the door and I lock it. "She's sleeping" I say. "No she's not" he says. I roll my eyes. "I told you you're not going to see her or be in her life, leave" I say. "I'm not leaving until you open the door" I roll my eyes and look down at Lani. She looks up at me then closes her eyes. "You were just sleepy"I say then smile. I hear another person outside the door. "Jamie, open the door" Sean says. I put her binky into her mouth and play with her small hand. "Trey is out here"he says making my heartbeat increase. I slowly walk to door. I cover Lanis face with her blanket. I unlock the door then open it. My little boy is in Zaria arm. I smile. I touch his arm and he hides his head into her neck. I walk further into the room while they walk to the couch. I put Lani back into the bassinet then take Trey from Zaria. "Mommy!" He starts whining for her making my heart drop. I look at her then at Sean and glare at him. "You have my son, calling some chick , mommy? Do you want to live till tomorrow?"I say calmly. If I yelled Lani would wake up. "Treyvon, you don't remember me, I'm your mommy" I say. He looks at me then shakes his head no. I walk to my bed and grab my pocket knife. I put Trey down and slice Sean in his face then stab him in his leg. He groans. "What the fuck Jamie!" He yells. I pull the knife out then punch him and walk over to the crying Lani. I take the blanket from over her. I sanitize my hands then pick her up. "I know Lani, he's a mean man" I say. I sit down on the bed and lean back. Laylani calms down and goes back to sleep. I play with her smooth silky hair, I think she has more Dominican her than black. I look at the nurse who just finished treating Seans wound. She looks at me. "How'd that happen?" She ask. "I don't know, I just finished breastfeeding Lani"I say. She smiles then walks away closing the door behind her. "I ain't done with your ass either" I say calmly still looking at Lani. "Is that her?" He ask. "No, it's a baby I stole from the nicu" I say. He stands up and starts limping over to us. I put the blanket over her face again. He looks at me. "Can I see her?" He mumbles. I ignore him. "Daddy!" Trey screams ofcourse making his sister cry. I sigh then take the blanket from over her face. He stares at her then smiles making her calm down, and making me roll my eyes. "Daddy!" Trey screams again. "What Treyvon?" He ask. Trey lifts his hands up. Sean walks over to him and picks him up. "Baby" Trey whispers. I smile at Trey. I missed my son so much, and now he calling some bitch mommy. By the time I'm done with Sean he finna be missing fingers, toes, and maybe a leg. Laylani looks around the room playing with her spit. "She looks constipated" Sean chuckles.I roll my eyes. Is it wrong that I'm annoyed by every thing he does, everything he says, every breath he takes? I take Trey from Sean. "Trey you don't remember mommy?" Sean ask scrolling through his phone. He shows Trey a picture of me laughing. I smile, I looked cute that day. "Mommy" he says staring at the picture. "That's me, Trey" I say. He looks at me. I did change a little. I have gold highlights and I got a little lighter, and gained more weight, but that's just baby fat, that's what I'm blaming it on.
"I'll come back for him later" Sean says. I roll my eyes, no his ass ain't. Him and Zaria walk out. "Can you help mommy dress Lani?" I ask. He shakes his head no. I shrugg my shoulders and take off her onesie and pamper. I wipe her off then put on a fresh pamper, she took her first bath about an hour ago. Sean said if I didn't let him bathe her that he wouldn't let Trey stay. "Can you pick out a onesie for Lani please?" I say to Trey. He looks in her bag and takes out a onesie and looks at it questionably. I smile and nod my head making him smile. I put the onesie on her then put on her pajama pants, a hat and some socks. Trey touches her hand. I look at her then Trey and realize they look excatly alike. "You hungry?" I mumble. He nods his head then cuddles under me. I smile then press the button and tell them what we want. I have my baby back and I'm not letting him out of my sight again.
"Come in"I say to whoever is knocking on the door. "Jamie can-" my mom stops mid-sentence and looks at Trey and covers her mouth. She points at him and I smile and nod my head. "Trey" she says then walks over to him and hugs him then puts him back on the bed next to me. He picks up a chicken nugget and holds it up at her. She bites half and he giggles. I smile. "Wait so that means Sean was here" she says. I nod my head. She raises her eyebrows. "I sliced his cheek and stabbed him in his thigh, then told him I'm not done with him" I say running my hands through Treys hair. My dad walks into the hospital room pushing a stroller. "Momma you made him bring the stroller up here?" I laugh. She waves me off. After my dad caught his breath he looked up at us and smile at me then Trey. He walked over to us and hugged Trey then put him back down. Trey holds up the fry he was nibbling on, my dad bites it then nibbled on Treys hands making him laugh. I look at Lani who's sleeping. She fell asleep as soon as the sperm donor left.
"Stop making so much noise" I say. Ava continues running then runs and her shoulder hits a lamp making it fall. "Ava-Lynn Mia Anderson" I growl. She bites her finger then runs to Jaden. Surprisingly Lani didn't wake up. "Trey smile" Heaven says. Family reunited, and nothing is breaking us apart again.
