"Rich, Lidia, do you know why I called yall over?" I ask them. They shake their heads no. "It's about Jamie, I know the truth" I say. Lidia looks at Rich. "The truth is what we told you" Rich lies. I nod my head. "So you say" I mumble. Sean walks into the room. "They said that they're telling us the truth" I say. He chuckles and shakes his head. "Tell us the actual truth" he says. "Jamie passed away due to a heart disease that runs in the family" Lidia says. "You're lying" Sean says. "Your are not going to accuse my wife of lying" Rich says then stands up. Cam grabs his shoulders and pushes him back down. "Where is your son?" I ask. "With my sister" Lidia says. "Or so you thought" I chuckle. Sean turns on the tv showing Demi, Aleah, AJ, Trey, Heaven, and Ne' tied up in chairs. They're actually in the garage though. Their son is in his high chair crying. They took away his toy so he been crying for a minute now. "My baby!" Lidia screams. "Tell us the truth" I say. "Okay, Jamie didn't die, her brother took her, I don't know where he took her though, I've been looking for the past 2 years" Rich says. I chuckle. "Yall come up" I yell. The kids walk up into the living room with Heaven holding her uncle. I chuckle when Lidia starts crying. "This shit isn't funny, I raised you and you repay me like this?" Rich yells. "Nah, yall was being selfish, yall saved yall own lives but ruined many others in the process. Laylani lived 2 whole years without a mother, but guess what? Yall finna hear from the victim" I say calmly. They look at me confused. I chuckle. "We didn't tell them our guest of honor? How rude of us" Sean chuckles. Jamie walks down the stairs. She sits down on the couch and we sit next to her. "I take it that you know who this is" I say. "Jamie" Rich whispers. Jamie smiles. "In the flesh" she laughs. "Baby I missed you so much" Lidia says. "I don't wanna hear it" she says then gets serious. "Yall knew where I was. You had my kids going through unnecessary grief. You could've told them, you could've told Jaden and Sean!" She yells. "Jamie he said he would kill us" Rich says. "Yeah, if you didn't let me go with him. He didn't say anything about not telling anyone!" Jamie yells. Jamie's freezes and she turns pale. "Jamie you okay?" I mumble. "Kids stay together, don't let them separate yall" Sean says as the kids huddle together. "What's going on?" I mumble. "They're outside" Lidia whispers. "King and Cam protect them"I say. They nod their heads. "Go to the place now" Sean says. "No, I don't want to leave yall" Jayla says. "Jayla listen, yall have to go now, yall have enough time, don't turn back, no matter what, I love you, take care of your sisters and brothers" Jamie says. They nod their head. There's a knock on the door. "Go, we'll hold them back as long as possible. Hurry up Shepherd and Ky are already in the garage, go" Sean says. "We love yall" we say in unison. They run away. Leaving Lidia,Rich, Me,Sean, and Jamie. "Yall ready" Sean mumbles. I sigh. The door burst down. "I knocked, no one answered" some dude that look like Jamie says. "You promised you wouldn't let him hurt me anymore" Jamie whisper. "I know what I said and I live up to my promises" Sean whispers. The dude chuckles. "You can't protect her now Sean" the dude chuckles. "Mom and Dad, haven't seen yall in a while, how's my little brother" he chuckles. "You stay away from him" Lidia growls. "Jamie don't you think when we were growing up momma always favorited Gabi, look, now her favorite is Michael" the dude says. "Whats your name nigga?" I mumble. He chuckles. "My name is Gabriel" he says. I chuckle. "You here with all this shit and your name is Gabriel, nigga what you need to be doing is going to the court to go change your name"I chuckle. "Take them" he says then some dudes walk in. I reach for my gun. "Keep it hidden" Sean whispers. I nod my head. One of the men grab me. "You betta watch where you putting them hands" I say. He chuckles and winks at me. "Ah hell naw! NAH! DID YALL SEE THAT! HE JUST WINKED AT ME! THE NIGGA FINNA RAPE ME!" I yell trying to get out his grip. I know I'm posed to be serious right now but I just might die tonight and I want people to remember me.
Jayla P.O.V.
The car is so quiet. Nobody is crying, sneezing. You can't even hear anyone breathing. I look at Aleah. Nevaeh starts hyperventilating. I get her pump and spray a few pumps in her mouth. "Who are you calling?" I ask. "Some of momma cousins, you don't know them" Cam mumbles. "Who?" I ask. "They live in Georgia, Jerome and Kyle Isaac" he mumbles.
He puts the phone on speaker. "Hol up" the dude says. "Aliana I think Ariah shit on the floor!" He yells. It was funny but I wasn't in the mood to laugh. "Hello?"he says. "Jerome, it's Cameron. We need yall in Cali by sun fall tomorrow" Cam says. "Family emergency" Cameron says. "Aight, Aliana call Kyle and Tyra. We going on a trip!" He yells. "Stop fucking yelling in my damn house!" She yells. "Our house" he says. "Jerome what the fuck, why'd you let her take her pamper off?" The girl says. "Cause she wanted to go butt naked" he says. "You an ass, who's on the phone?" The girl ask. "Cam" he mumbles. "Hey Cameron" she says. "Cameron turn it off of speaker, they sleeping" I mumble. "Aight, imma see yall tomorrow, and bring BJ and Nae" Cam says. "We will" the dude says then hangs the phone up. I sigh and sit back. My phone continues vibrating. "Give it" King mumbles. I give it to him and he throws it out the window. I sigh. He hands me the phone with the new number since we're going to a different state. We can't contact anyone anymore. It's a new life for us.
