"Excuse me?" Rich says. "You are not the father of Jamie John"the doctor says. Rich looks at Lidia. "Hunny-" Lidia starts but Rich cuts her off. He takes of his wedding band and puts it on her lap and storms out. "Mom, who's our dad?" Gabi ask. Lidia sits there crying ignoring Gabi's question. "Um, I know this is hard for you, but we still need blood for Jamie, time is running out" the Doctor says. "I'll give some, I'm O+" Sean says. "That should work just fine" the doctor says and takes Sean to the back. Everyone sits in tension. The only sound was Lidia crying. Gabi quickly wiped her tears and stood up. "I'm going to go look for him" she says then walks away.
Gabis P.O.V.
I walk around the hospital parking lot looking for my dad. "Dad?" I yell. Nothing. I finally see him sitting in his car. I jog to his car and open the door and sit in the passenger seat. "Dad, are you okay?" I ask him. "I'm not your father Gabriella" he says then looks at me with sadness in his voice and eyes. "Daddy, yes you are, you raised us, and loved us. No matter what that test said, you are always going to be our dad" I say. He grabs my hand and kisses it. "As much as I want to believe you, I just can't take the pain of watching you and knowing that you're not biologically my daughter" he says. "Daddy don't look at us differently please" I say. "Your mother lied to me, to you guys, for 33 years" he says. I sigh. "Please don't look at us differently, we are still your daughters and you are still our father" I say. He smiles at me. "What about Jamie?" He mumbles. Oh shit. Jamie has always been a daddies girl, all her life, she always spent her free time with our dad. I sigh. "Do you think we should tell her?"I mumble. "She's already been lied to, it'd best she hears the truth from us" he mumbles. I sigh. "Let's go back inside" I mumble. We get out the car and he wraps his arms around my shoulders. "I love you daddy" I say. "I love you too princess" he says then kisses my head. I smile.
Jayla P.O.V.
While my mom is going through surgery the doctor said I could go see MJ. That was so grimy of my grandmother to do Papi like that. I could only imagine how Aunty Gabi feels. Growing up calling him your dad only to find out he really isn't. I can never imagine going through that.
I open Maliks hospital door. I quietly walk in. Then I see Maliks ex sitting on his bed talking to him. "Uh chick, I think you should leave" Meg says to Maliks ex when she sees me. "No, I'm here for your brother" she says then pushes Meg but Malik didn't see. I walk to her and pull her by her hair. "You ain't finna disrespect her like that aight, bitch you betta tell her sorry" I growl. "Ow!" She screams when I tighten my grip on her hair. "I'm sorry Megan" she says. I let her hair go. "Continue" I say then walk to the couch. Meg sits next to me. "Aren't you going to stop her from talking to him?" She ask. "Nope, I don't care anymore Meg" I mumble. She sighs. "He hurt you so much that you're used to it now" she mumbles. I nod my head. "Malik are you hearing anything I'm saying?" The girl ask. "No, get the fuck out, I'm cool" he mumbles, he has no respect for her at all. "Just because your bitch is here I'm nothing to you anymore?" She says. Malik and Meg look at me waiting on my reaction to her calling me a bitch. I sigh then hug my knee and continue on my phone. "How can you just treat me like that, we made love" she says. "No we didn't, we fucked, can you leave now?" He mumbles. She sighs then walks out. "Baby come here" Malik mumbles but I ignore him. "I'm going anywhere else but here, are your sisters here?" Meg ask. I nod my head. She smiles then walks out the room. "Baby" he mumbles. I sigh then stand up. The girl walks back into the room and tossed a pregnancy test on Maliks lap. "This doesn't prove it's mines" he says. "Malik please accept responsibility, the baby is yours" she says. I look at her. "The Fuck You Lookin at?" She mumbles. I sigh and put my phone down. I take out my earrings and walk up to her. "What you said?" I mumble. She goes mute. "Excatly, all yall fucking bitches out here got no bite, just bark" I yell already pissed off with Malik. "I'll see you later Malik" she says then walks out. "Baby I'm sorry" MJ says. "I said okay Malik! I don't fucking care anymore! That's all you fucking say!Sorry, sorry, sorry! You don't mean it. Cause if you meant it you wouldn't hurt me anymore! I'm done Malik! I'm seriously done, you keep doing shit over and over again! I can't take it anymore" I yell then mumble the last sentence. He grabs my arm and pulls me onto his hospital bed. "Jayla I don't do it intentionally" he says the kisses my tears away. "You're going to say that then a few days later we are going to be in the same situation" I mumble. My mind is like a boys own now, I have boys mentality. "What's going through your head when you cheat?" I mumble. "I don't know" he mumbles. I look at him confused. "Why do you do cocaine Malik, you promised me, that was the second promise you broke" I mumble then look at my nails. "I truly am sorry Jayla" he says then tilts my head up and kisses me. I don't know what it was, but this kiss felt real for the first time. He pulls away and I lay my head on his chest. "I am trying Jayla, I'm going to stop for you, for Megan, for us" he says. "I'll believe it when I see it"I mumble. He kisses my neck. That led to another and who knew I would lose my virginity in a hospital bed.
Jamie P.O.V.
I slowly open my eyes. I'm scared to move, if I move then Gabe will know I'm awake and want to have sex with me. I hear a sound I've grown so familiar to. Beep.Beep. Beep.Beep. Am I in the hospital? We can't have sex in a hospital. I try to sit up but a sharp pain strikes me in my side. "Take it easy Ms.John, drink some water" a nurse says then hands me a glass of water. I look at the water. "Your depression pills, medication to help you heal" she says. I nod my head and drink it. I look around and see Sean staring at me. "What else was in this water?" I ask. "Only what I told you" she says. "I'll go get the doctor" she says then smiles at me and walks away. I continue drinking the water until it was finished. "I put something in the water" Sean says. I look at him. "What?" I mumble. "Morning after pills" he mumbles. "Ofcourse" I mumble then put the glass on the table next to me. "You promised" I mumble. "Jamie what did you want me to do? I was chained up" he says. "He killed our baby" I mumble. Sean stands up and walks over to my bed. He gets in and rubs my stomach. "I know baby" he mumbles. I sigh. "We could always make another"he mumbles. "Now is not the time Sean" I mumble. "I know, I ment later when you got better" he mumbles then kisses my neck. I sigh then grab the bucket that they kept next to me. I throw up in it. "I didn't know I grossed you out that much" he mumbles. I laugh. "It's all the shit he put inside of me" I mumble. I spit then chew a mint. I look at Sean and he's staring at me. "Why are you in here?" I mumble. He smiles. "I gave you blood" he says cockily. I laugh. "Thankyou" I say. He nods his head. I don't know why but I had the strongest urge to kiss him, so I did. I guess he had the same urge cause he waisted no time kissing me back. A knock on the door breaks our kiss. I smile and blush. He smiles and chuckles. The doctor walks in. "I'm happy to see that you're doing well" he says then looks at the monitor monitoring my heart beat. "Oh wow, it looks like a few seconds ago your heart beat increased rapidly" he mumbles looking at the screen confused. My eyes widen and Sean chuckles.
My dad walks into the hospital room. "Daddy!" I squeal. I know I was upset at him but he's my dad and I love him to bunches. He lightly smiles. Gabi walks in. "Sissy!" I squeal. I probably sound like Ava. She smiles. "Come here, why are yall so far?" I mumble. They walk closer to me. Each of them sitting on either side of me. They look at eachother. "What's going on? Where's mom?" I mumble. Gabi smiles then sucks her bottom lip into her mouth, she looks like she's holding back tears. "Did something bad happen to mom?" I whisper. She shakes her head no. My dad grabs my hand and kisses it. "What's going on?" I mumble. They sigh. "How do I say this?" My dad mumbles. "Dad isn't really our dad. Mom lied to us for 33 years. They found out cause he was supposed to give you blood but it didn't go through." GABI says all in one breath. I stare at them. "Haha, funny" I say smiling then I realize that they weren't smiling with me. "Haha, now is the time you say Haha got ya Jamie, that's when we all laugh and celebrate" I say then stop smiling and wipe my tears. "I'm sorry Jamie" Gabi says. I look at my dad and he pulls me into a hug. I let all the tears go. My dad isn't my dad? My mother has alot of explaining to do.
