"Jaden stop" I giggle. "Why, just come on" he chuckles. "Jaden I'm not about to take a bath with you" I laugh. "Why not" he mumbles against my lips. "Cause we have places to be" I mumble. I look at the clock. It's 6:56 a.m. I have to wake up the girls at 7:30. "Come on babe" he mumbles. "No, that's the same way I got pregnant with baby boy" I say. "Well it ain't like you can get pregnant again, you already pregnant" he mumbles. "No"I mumble. He sighs. "Where you going?" I ask him. "To bathe" he says while walking away. "Riley what's wrong with him" I mumble. Riley stares at me then walks away. "Mommy, I had a nightmare" Heaven says then runs into the bedroom. She sits on my lap and I cradle her. "Jamie-" Jaden stops talking when I put up my hand for him to stop talking. I look at him. I wave my hand telling him to go back. I don't think he sees Heaven. Hes naked. He stays by the door. "Heaven..." I say. Jaden freezes then runs back into the bathroom. I lightly laugh. "Do you want to tell me what the nightmare was about?" I ask her. She shakes her head no. I kiss her forhead. "We can lay hear for a while but then we have to get ready" I mumble. "Jayla went missing and Aleah broke her ankle and the baby inside of you almost didn't make it, and then you said you didn't love us anymore" she mumbles after a while. "I can't promise you that your little brother will make it but I have a strong feeling he will, your grandparents have eyes on all of you guys every single second of the day so there is a very small chance Jayla goes missing. Aleah is reckless so I have a feeling she might break her ankle in gymnastics" I mumble. "And there is nothing in this world that you, your sisters, or your brother can do that will make me stop loving yall" I say. "Thankyou mommy" she mumbles. "Your welcome baby" I mumble.
"Okay bye, I'll pick you up at 3, you don't have karate today"I say to Jayla while the girls pile out the car. I carpooled today. "Okay bye mom, love you" she says. "Love you too baby" I say. She closes they door and they run into the gym. So now only Heaven and Nevaeh are left. "Mom I'm hungry" Heaven says. "Heaven we just ate breakfast" Nevaeh says. "Yeah I know but I'm hungry again" she mumbles. "We are almost at the bakery, you can get something to eat there" I mumble. She sighs and continues playing with her phone.
I pull into my parking space and we all get out. I open the door and let the girls walk in before me. "Hey Jamie" Kandice says. "Hey, that's Boss to you" I laugh. "Yes ma'am" she laughs while putting icing on our peppermint cupcakes. "Go into my office Nevaeh" I say. I had asked Nevaeh if she wanted to help but she declined. "Is Raven here?" I ask. "No, I think she starts maternity rest today" Kandice says. Raven, my cousin, is pregnant, with triplets. We walk to the front. "Bethany why aren't we open yet" I say. "I forgot to open the door, I was piping icecream on the cookie sandwhiches" she mumbles while going to unlock the door. "You forgot! How! You know-" I stop when Heaven pulls my hand. I squat down so we were face to face "Mommy don't be so mean" she whispers in my ear. I sigh. "You know what. Okay. Cause you're the boss" I say. "Really!" She screams. "Only for the day" I say. "Thankyou" she mumbles. "You're welcome baby" I mumble. "Bethany where are the other workers, why is there only one person up here" Heaven asked Bethany while tippy toeing to lean on the counter. Bethany looks at me. I nod my head. She looks back at Heaven. "They are in the back boss" Bethany says while placing the cookies on the tray. "Come on mommy, let's go to the back" Heaven says. I nod my head. We walk to the backroom. "Oh my gosh, why aren't you guys doing anything" I growl. "Can you guys please get up off your butts and start making pastries, it is 7:45 right now, we are about to have a bunch of hungry customers in a couple minutes and there won't be enough for them to eat" Heaven says. Everyone looks at eachother then at me. I nod my head. They get up and start working. Heaven looks up at me and smiles. I wink my eye. "Come on, people are going to want personal cakes being made" I say. "No, I want to stay up here with the workers" Heaven says. "Ok, I'll be in the back in the appointment room then I'll go upstairs, okay" I say. She nods her head. I walk to the appointment room. It's basically just the room where people want me to make amazing cakes for birthdays, weddings, and other events. I look at my list. "Okay who is the first person of the day......Philbert Pigger......." I mumble. "Ookay" I say. "Your 8 oclock is here Jamie" Re'Née says. "Send him in" I say. She nods her head then closes the door. A few minutes later I hear someone knock on the door. A man and a woman walk in. Oh my gosh, they smell like bell peppers and baby boy don't like bell peppers at all. This is going to be a long meeting.
