The next day Hayes was treating me different I mean he was mean but he lighted up a bit
"Are you going to eat that?"he asked sitting next to me
"No you can have it come to find out this isn't really health for the human body"I said he took it off my plate I looked at his jaw as he chewed
"Yeah.....cause looking at me makes me comfortable"he rolled his eyes I looked away
"Sorry I just um need to go get fresh air"I stood up Hayes pulled me back down
"No sit and stare at me more I like it"he laughed I smiled the girl that picked on me yesterday came to the table sitting next to Hayes
"Eh why is she here?"she asked
"Kim Because I said she can be"Hayes said grabbing my juice
"Hey that's mines"I said
"I'll buy you another one"he replied Kim turned red
"O now your spending money on her?"Kim snapped
"Kim shut up"Hayes rolled his eyes
"What does she have I don't huh? For God sakes shes ugly and skinny she does her work and she's passing she's a good girl she can't have fun!"Kim shouted making a scene
"Actually she's beautiful in every way and I like how smart she is Kim......maybe I'm sick of bad girls and if she can't have fun I'll help her with it"he smirk Kim jaw dropped she looked at me
"You bitch you'll pay for this"she stormed off I grabbed my things rushing out the cafeteria
"Carter!"Hayes shouted
"What!"I turned around
"I didn't tell you to leave"he said
"O cause your the boss of me? Hayes do you not know you made the most popular girl in school hate me I'll forever get teased and picked on thanks to you"I snapped
"No she won't because I'll make sure of it"he said
"Hayes stop I don't know you 109% but I do know your a bad example"I frowned
"Really? Well did you know Kim has ADHD?"he asked
"What does that have to do with anything?"I asked back

"It's only my 2nd day here and I feel like I don't wanna come back"I rolled my eyes
"Carter I got you"he said grabbing my hand

"I should just go"I said walking away
"First I wanna show you something"Hayes grabbed me pulling me out the school doors we got into his car as we were driving I started to see less cars with in a hour he pulled over
"What is this?"I asked looking out the window at the forest
"It's call Grier I named it myself"he smiled getting out the car I did the same
"Is this safe?"I asked
"No"he grabbed my hand
"What the hell then why are we doing this?"I asked
"No reason I like doing dangerous stuff like this"he grinned as we were walking a waterfall caught my eye
"How beautiful"I smiled looking down
"It is but it's better to actually feel it"Hayes said taking his shirt off
"Your not actually going to jump?"I asked
"Why not? And plus your jumping to"he said grabbing my bag throwing it to the ground
"I can't swim Hayes"I said he kept taking his shoes off and well as his shirt and pants
"Hurry"he rushed me I took my shirt off slowly and my pants I looked over the edge
"Hayes I can't swim I just can't do this"I said grabbing my clothes Hayes pulled me
"Just cause you can't swim....that's going to stop you?"he asked me
"Yes because if you don't know not knowing how to swim can kill you"I said Hayes looked into my eyes as his hair blew in the wind
"I got you and you go me"he said I weirdly smiled as I was turning around Hayes arms grabbed me I felt my body falling I screamed as the pressure of the water hit my body Hayes arms released me and I swam from under catching my breath Hayes came up.
"Look who's swimming"he wiped his eyes
"You could have killed me!"I shouted angrily Hayes swam next to me
"Are you breathing Carter?"he asked making a funny face I tried to hold in my laughter but it didn't work
"Yeah I am"I smiled Hayes looked at me
"You hear that?"he asked I looked around and saw a cop car
"Freeze hands where I can see them!!!"The cop shouted I quickly pushed Hayes under the water before the cops saw him I got out the water with my hands up
"Your under arrest for breaking into private property "He hand cuff me
I hope Hayes can hold his breath for long
