Sitting on your bed is a giant pile of clothing. You have almost completely gone through every bit of clothing you own. How were you supposed to dress? Casual? That seemed like the best choice, but how casual is TOO casual? Formal? No, who dresses formally for an outdoor cafe? As you reach the bottom of the wardrobe, you find it. The perfect outfit. Jeans that hugged your body just right, and a navy blue tank top that had black embroidered stars on the back.
It was cute, yet simple. Not that you were trying to get attention with the outfit, you just felt the need to look nice when you went out. Satisfied with the clothes, you move onto makeup. Eyeliner and mascara. Simple, yet chic.
Today you were meeting up with Mark and Jack. Apparently they had thought you were interesting enough to talk to again. It was 11:30, and they would be there about noon to pick you up. The remainder of the half hour consisted of scrolling through various social media pages, observing your spikes on fans on them as well. The pressure on you had definitely increased. How were you supposed to entertain a million people with vlogs of your boring old daily life? You had been put on the spot with almost no experience. It's not like you could get much more complicated, considering the lack of equipment to make any other kinds of videos. It was so worrying. How would if feel to disappoint all of those people? The thought had kept you awake the past two nights.
At 12:05 you received a text. It was from Mark.
M: hey amber on the way. be there in 10
A: ok im pretty much ready to go
M: im so excited to talk more :)
A: yeah it will be nice actually getting to know some people in this town
He didn't respond, you assumed it was because he was driving. After quickly rechecking your outfit and make up, you get your things together. Putting your phone in your pocket you head out the door and lock it. You stride down the corridor, and to the front exit. You lived on the left side, the apartment building was a single line, with the front desk in the middle. Opening the front door, you walk out. Down the sidewalk was a bench, where you take a seat. Less then a minute later, another notification lights up your phone. Mark again.
M: I SEE YOU
Startled, you look up and glance around. Where was he? After a second, he texts you again.
M: OVER HERE
You look up again, before realizing you hadn't really been given a direction to look. You text back:
A: where are you creepers
M: Everywhere.
M: and nowhere
A:thank you for making so much sense
M: Lol just across the street
Looking across the street, you see a black car. Someone was frantically waving, trying to get your attention. It was Mark. Standing up, you can't keep yourself from grinning and happily wave back to him. Another hand pops from the other side, at the passenger side window. It was Jack. You start walking across the street towards them, grinning like an idiot. How could you not? They were such friendly people, and the first friends you made here in L.A. Hopefully they would think the same about you. You were sure this was going to be the beginning of something great.
sorry this took so long im really lazy
