Adopted for "The Fame" (Lady Gaga) {Book 1}

I Assure You, My Cure Is Most Effective

"A few months?" I asked

"Sadly." Gaga said

"When are you getting the surgery?" Jake asked

"Soon... Maybe a couple of days to a week..." Gaga said

The room goes silent.

"Well, I...Uh...Don't really know what to say..." I said

"Yeah..." Jake agreed

"I know right." Gaga said

The Day Of Gaga's surgery.

Once we pulled up, I knew something was, a bit off about the "Office".

It looked like a facility, one that had been badly beaten up.

"You sure we are at the correct area?" I asked

"Umm, yes" Taylor said

"Okay." I said

We got out of the car, and bought Gaga into the hospital.

We where called in the doctors room, when we hear two doctor's fighting.

"But, good sir, everyone, besides you and I have the Great Pestilence, it's here!" One doctor said

"The Great Pesti- Oh, The Plague... Okay, you know, you're also a doctor." Another doctor said

"And my cure has cured THOUSANDS if not more patients!" Doctor 1 said

"Your cure costed hundreds of lives!" Doctor 2 said

"But, good sir, I can assure you, my cure is most effective" Doctor 1 said

Both doctors walked inside our room

"Hey, how you guys doing?" Doctor 2 asked

"I don't know..." Taylor and Gaga said

"Okay, so what's wrong?" Doctor 2 asked

"My hip is killing me." Gaga said

"Okay, we gotta take you in the room to take your X-rays" Doctor 2 asked

"Okay" Gaga said

Once they got back, the doctor said that there is a tear in her hip.

Gaga was nervous, and looked scared.

Doctor 1 noticed that, too.

"Don't be afraid, I am the cure" He said

Gaga looked up

"Huh?" She asked

"Oh my, yet another victim of the disease." He said

Gaga was confused.

"Oh, don't mind him, he's just making up some sensless crap again." Doctor 2 said

 "Okay." Gaga said.

The second doctor turned around.

"Okay, since Gaga is getting surgery, and the process will take a few days, you guys can go home, if you'd like" He said

As we said bye to gaga, I took one last look at doctor 1.

He looked over at me.

He looked like a Plague Doctor.

He whispered:

"Greetings"

I did too.

He turned to doctor 2, and whispered something in his ear.

Then whispered something to Gaga, then Gaga smiled and laughed.

"Are you coming?" Taylor asked 

"Oh, um, yeah..." I say

"Don't worry, we'll be back soon." Taylor said

We got in the car and drove home.
