I watch them play
Up above, so far from me
Yet past the silence of space
And many miles of squinting sight
                              I hear them laugh
                              As they dance and play
                              Full of mirth and merry
With no toil but earnest work
                              Of committed fantasy
                              I watch with pride
                              My heart made glad
                              My children of stars
                              My manifest imagination
                              7/1/14
