For Damion
Two lives
Lived by one Man
Who with strength
Connects the disparate
With hunger unending
& drive propelling
In one breath
he creates compassionate elocution
to guide young hands, minds
on the graceful path
rich with fascinated aspiration
With the other
he fuels rapturous action
to find himself and the lovED
on a heart-engined roller coaster
their skin warmed
souls satisfied
Both lives lived
In the heart of a genius
Who plotted to find life's hand,
And lead it in brilliance
