This willful obedience
                              To the whirling wheel
Is a sacrifice to the tedious
                              With dripping words obsequious
                              And smiles too false
                              To ignite inspiration
So we dance this sad waltz
                              Of foot over hand
                              Hand over foot
                              Climbing 'round and 'round
                              Though never advancing
                              In spite of ever climbing
                              Observe pushing harder
Down you'll fall all the faster
                              Landing forgotten
                              Into that sweet sink
                              9/23/13
