Discovering you hidden in the sheets
To welcome the draw of night
With the taste of your elicit mess
                              Comfort and fire
                              Between inside all around us

                              The way you kiss
                              The smell of your skin
                              Warmth of your breath
                              (the way I press)

Leaving you in the surf of sheets
                              To forsake patchwork dreams
                              For a world to impress
                              The push and pull
                              Of wounded memories tenderly vicious

                              The way I kiss
                              The smell of your skin
                              Warmth of your breath
                              (the way you press)

                              My huntress we'll keep tryin'
To leave these magnets of machination
                              Battered and broken
                              9/5/12
