I took a deep breath. I was wearing a dark red collared shirt with a black tie and black dress pants. I looked okay in the mirror. I asked myself, why are you so nervous? Everything was I place for the dance and my date was secured.
But what if Macy decided for some reason that she didn't want to dance with me?
No, she wouldn't do that, would she? She gave me her word.
I splashed some cold water on my face to bring me back to reality.
