Prom!

(Kaci's POV)

Senior year was going by so fast. Everyone caps and gowns came in a few weeks back, so it was all becoming so real. That was such a great night. All Joey and I did was dance, eat food, talk, and dance some more. Completely magical. 

Joey: "I am so glad we were able to come! I can't think of anyone else I would rather be here with than you!"

That made me smile and giggle.

Me: "I agree. This is amazing. I am surprised no other girls have tried to come and steal a dance from you or whatever." 

Joey: "Ha. Yeah, but I am happy they haven't." 

Me: "You think we got the message across to them about our eternal love for each other?"

Joey: "After what happened, yeah. I am sure of it."

*flashback to 2 weeks before*

(Joey's POV) 

I was starting to become completely sick of the way girls were trying to get between Kaci and I. I had to do something, but I wasn't sure what. After hours and hours of thinking, I decided. It was nothing to dramatic, because neither Kaci or I liked drama that much.

Kaci: "Hey babe! How's..."

Random Girl 25: *walks up at perfect timing* "What are you doing talking to MY boyfriend?"

This was my chance to start proving that I loved Kaci, and Kaci only.

Me: "No." 

That is all I said.

Random Girl 25: "Haha, babe what do you mean?"

Me: "No."

Kaci: "What's going on now?" 

Me: "Nothing hun. Let's go." 

Then, we just walked away from whoever that girl was. From that point on, I did that to every girl, that wasn't Kaci, who came up to me and started flirting. It worked too. 

*forward flash to Prom again*

DJ: "Ladies and Gentlemen, as the night is coming to an end, the top voted slow song will be your last slow song at Senior Prom. I am going to play that for you right now!"

(listen to attached video while reading - thats my dad singing btw) 

Kaci: "Oh my gosh! This is one of my favorite Waltz'! I can not believe it is playing!"

Me: "You get perks being the cutest Senior at your school..."

Kaci: "You did this? How?"

Me: "Best Boyfriend ever award goes to?"

Kaci: "You! Haha, now let's go dance!"

*slow dances/waltz' for the rest of the song*

I sang along with the guy singing on the recording, and Kaci smiled the whole time. She was the most beautiful thing you could lay eyes on.

*song finishes*

Kaci: "Best... night... ever."
