The New Year

(Joey's POV)

We eventually made it past the issue we had with the haters, and moved on. This was it. 2017, the year we were going to graduate! All I could think about was how close, but yet so far my future with Kaci was! We were hanging out on the couch together watching a new favorite youtuber of ours, JoshuaDTV. He was so funny and I could tell by the look in Kaci's eyes when we watched his videos that she thought he was good looking. I talked to her about it, and all could get out of her was, "You know that I love you, and your way cuter! But let's watch more!" I could just laugh. It was okay, because Joshua was engaged and I did know that she loved me.

We kept watching youtube till it got really late.

Me: "Babe, maybe we should head to bed. It's almost midnight, and we have are starting our weekend road trip tomorrow! Don't you remember?"

Kaci: *yawns* Oh crap! Your right! That is tomorrow! Then school starts up again Monday, right?"

Me: "Yep!"

Kaci: "Can we just sleep right here and cuddle? Please!?"

I didn't want to tell her no, but I knew we would both sleep better in our own beds.

Me: "I love you, but I think you would agree that we both will sleep much better in our own beds."

She seemed disappointed, but I knew she understood.

Kaci: "Yeah, I guess your right. Lets go to bed."

So with that, we headed upstairs to our bedrooms. Everyone was already sleep, so we had to be quite. Before we split for the night, I pulled Kaci into a tight hug and planted a passionate kiss on her lips. She gave me one back. Then, we pulled away.

Me: "Goodnight beautiful! Sweet dreams!"

She looked back at me.

Kaci: "Sweet dreams my love! Goodnight!"

And with that, we shut our doors and went to bed.

HERRRRO! I am so sorry for not updating. Being a 16 year old sophomore now, or.. As of today anyway.I have so much going on. I am so happy that I found the time to update tonight!
