Walking On Broken Glass

Chapter Two

I am not a morning person. So when I was woken up to get to the tour bus I was less then pleased. Pierre told me I could take Ivy, he noticed that I did better when I had her around. I pulled my brown hair back into a pony tail and sighed as I put on make up. I covered up my black eye then applied black eye shadow for liner and shimmer eye shadow. I shrugged as I pulled on a Wonder Woman shirt and blue jean skinnys. I saw that Pierre had taken my duffel bags to his car and laughed. I grabbed my back pack and headed out. Ivy was right behind me.

"You ready?" Pierre asked as he handed me some hot apple cider.
"As ready as I could ever be." I sipped my drink as we left the apartment and locked up.

Once we arrived at the venue for the first show, I sighed. I had every intention of keeping to myself and not being seen. I told Pierre I was going to see the guys then hide out on the bus. It would just be easier.

"Hey guys!" I smiled as I saw them putting their shit on the bus.
"Hey Tay, how are you?" David smiled as he kissed my cheek.
"Better. I'm sure I'll feel better when I'm not hurting." I smiled he showed me the code for the bus.
"You gonna watch?" Chuck asked as we all piled on the bus.
"I'm not sure yet. It depends on how I feel and if I want to sit there and watch." I stuck my tongue out at him as he laughed.
"You should watch Marianas Trench. Not bad for local boys." Jeff offered as he went to pick out a bunk.
"Ivy get back here!!" I heard Pierre call, I laughed as I went to go help.
"Be careful, wear this at all times!" Seb tossed me an all access pass just as I was about to leave the bus.

I saw Pierre looking under a few trucks for my dog and I laughed. I let out a whistle but no luck.

"Where'd she go?" I asked as I walked around.
"Um I thought she ran this way. She seemed excited to be here. She may have gone inside." He looked worried that we couldn't find her.
"I'll go look. She'll come to me sooner then she'd come to you." I gave him a look that told him not to worry and walked off.

I flashed my pass and walked in. I called out for her a few times and sighed when she didn't come. I called out her name and heard a faint barking. As I got closer I heard a louder bark. I peaked around the corner and saw a dressing room. I heard two barks and knew Ivy's. I walked up to the open door and peaked in, not wanting to be rude. I saw 4 men, a big black lab and my Ivy. I took notice of each of the men. There was one with a mo-hawk and a tattoo on his left arm, another had really curly hair and a shirt that had bacon on it, one was playing with his phone and looked nervous, the final man was tall; I could tell because he was standing up. His hair was blue and black; moused into a messy style. He seemed to be the owner of the Lab.

"Um I hate to intrude, but could I get my dog?" I said as I knocked on my door.
"Who are you?" The guy with the mo-hawk asked.
"I'm Taylin, I'm here with Simple Plan and that's my dog." I stood at the door watching the four man.
"How do we know it's your dog? The tall one asked.
"Because her name is Ivy, she's a 5 month old German Shepherd and I want her back." I let out a whistle and she came right to me.
"She's a pretty dog." The curly guy said.
"She was a present." I bent down to check her over, making sure she was ok and nothing was wrong.
"So you work for the guys?" The nervous one asked.
"Um I'm not sure how to answer that...." I felt very uneasy as I watched them.
"I'm Mike Ayley, this is Matt Webb, Ian Cassleman and the tall lanky douche is Josh Ramsay. We're playing the tour." Mo-hawk smiled as he held his hand out.
"I should take Ivy to the bus. I have some stuff to do." I patted my leg and Ivy followed, looking a little sad to be without her new friend.

As I walked out with Ivy she seemed less thrilled to be around me then she had been around the other dog. I sighed as I sat on the ground and she sat with me. I thought about I ended up with her.
