It was hard to think as I looked at my uncle. My dad's brother. They looked so much alike. He walked out of my life when my dad died and he shows up now. I shot a look at Pierre who had a look of anger and disgust on his face. He didn't hide the fact he was the reason my uncle had shown up on tour.
"Taylin, I heard about what's been going on. I wish you had called me. Let me know you needed help." He said, reaching out to touch my arm. I jerked away and shook my head.
"Called you? You fucking left me with that crazy bitch and her joke of a husband! You left me with nothing! How can you show up here and act like you care?" I hissed, I felt Josh's hand on my arm, his way of trying to calm me.
"You have every right to be upset with me. I never should have taken off like I did. I should have stayed around after Alex died. I am truely sorry for that. I'm here now and I want to help. Pierre told me everything. I feel horrible about what happen. I don't think using medications to mask the pain is the answer." He said.
"Fuck you Mitch! You walked out on me! You left me with that nutcase and a rapist! Go to hell!!!" I stormed off the bus and into the cold night air. I ran to Josh's bus, grabbed Ivy and took off in a jog. I needed to think and I needed away from the intervention they were trying to force on me.
Josh's POV:
"That went shitty." Jeff sighed.
"You didn't need to be a dick!" I spat at Pierre.
"She needed to know. She needed too know this isn't gonna go on. She has to get clean and she has to make a choice to do it. I won't let her ruin her life!" He shouted.
"And you think attacking her was the right move? You think making her run off in the middle of the night was a smart move?" I was pissed things had gone this way.
"And what? You would have done it different?" He snapped.
"Yea. I would have." I shook my head as I thought of where Taylin might have taken off too.
"You should have let him talk to her. He's been down the road she is." Matt looked as pissed off as I was. It was nice to know someone else cared like I did.
"Then you deal with her." Pierre snapped at me, I flipped him off and left the bus. I needed to find her and make sure she was safe.
Being in New York, wandering around alone without anyone with her worried me. She had no idea where she was or where she was going. I needed to find her before something bad happened to her. I checked the bus and was only slightly relived that she had taken Ivy with her. She would have some kind protection.
It was hard to think of someone I cared about being out in a strange city with nothing, but a slightly vicous dog to keep her safe. I knew I had to find her, the only way to do that was to think like her. She wanted something to kill the pain she felt, so that meant she would go try to find some kind of drugs to feel better. So I took off in a run, hoping to find her. I made sure I had my phone incase the guys needed me.
I walked around for a good 4 hours until I saw Ivy, she was whining and barking at someone. I heard a man's voice shouting at Ivy.
"Get that fucking dog away! It's bad for business!" He hissed.
"She's my dog. She's fine." I heard Taylin say. I ran up to her and looked at the guy.
"Who are you?" He snapped.
"Josh! What the hell?" Taylin hissed at me.
"We need to get back. Now." I told her in a hushed tone.
"Not till I get what I want." She was a bit snappy, I knew what that meant.
"We need to go. Please." I said I took Ivy's leash and grabbed Taylin's hand, pulling her with me.
