Weiss dropped a pile of textbooks on the table with a loud bang. Nix looked at her puzzled.

"What's all this?"

The girl smiled at him. "My books. As you can see there's quite a few here and they are dreadfully heavy. Seeing how we share classes I will need you to carry them for me."

"Seriously? Why not carry them yourself?"

Weiss scoffed. "I thought you said you wanted my help."

"I dont see how-"

She raised a finger. "You agreed to follow my instructions exactly, remember? This is endurance training. Now hurry up, I dont want to be late for Grimm studies." Weiss turned and skipped out of the dining hall leaving Nix staring at the books. Around him he could see other students snickering as he lifted the pile. It felt like they weighed 40 pounds! Weiss called to him from across the room.

"Come on, I dont have all day!" Nix groaned inwardly and trailed behind her, the added weight slowing him down. Weiss walked in front of him with a satisfied grin. "This might be more fun than I thought."

"Hey, anyone seen Weiss?" Ruby asked as she took her seat in the dining hall. The rest of her friends had gathered for lunch, but Nix and Weiss had yet to arrive. Blake looked up from the book she was reading and shrugged. "I lost her after class. She should be here soon." Ruby shrugged back and took a bite out of her cookie. Just then Weiss strolled in with an exhausted looking Nix behind her. Weiss wore a large smile as she sat down and crossed her legs.

"Right here is fine." She said to Nix, and he dropped the pile of textbooks on the table beside her with a loud sigh. He plopped onto the bench between Jaune and Nora and his head hit the table with a thud, his energy drained. The two looked at him startled and Ruby turned to her white haired friend.

"What's all that about?"

"This is his training. You all have your methods, and I have mine." She clapped her hands twice. "Nix, be a dear and fetch me a drink, all this walking has left me quite parched." Nora was prodding Nix with her fork when his head shot up at full attention, causing her to jump. "Yes, Ms. Schnee." He said briskly before running off to grab her beverage. The group all looked at Weiss in disbelief, who just smiled smugly back. She was enjoying this a lot and didnt want to waste such a golden opprotunnity.

Yang folded her arms questioningly. "Yes Ms. Schnee?"

"Like I said, you have your ways, and I have mine. Besides, he agreed to it all on his own, it's not like I forced him." Her voice dropped a little lower. "And there's no harm in having a little fun in the mean time." The other girls rolled their eyes as Nix came back and delivered her drink. "Thank you."

The bell rang a few minutes later and Weiss got up to leave, her lunch finished. "Come along Nix, and please keep up this time. You know I hate waiting." Nix's head rose slowly off the table, clearly having fallen asleep. "Right away Ms. Schnee." He said and lifted the books with a grunt. His friends all watched them leave and Ruby shook her head. "That's Ice Queen for you."

"At least their not fighting." Blake replied. "I haven't seen her smile like that around him before."

She did have a point. Whatever their relationship was, it was way better than it had been the last few weeks. Yang felt a little jealous and frowned. "He never offered to carry my books."

"Uh, Yang?" Ruby pointed out. "You don't use any."

The girl raised her brows in acknowledgement. "That's true."
