CHAPTER TWO:
‘’Come on, lets go get your schedule’’ we walk down the corridor, following the signs until we come to the reception. Behind a desk sat a smiling woman with brown hair and wide brown eyes.
‘’Can I help you?’’ she looks at Jamie, slyly.
‘’Yes, she’s here to collect her schedule’’
‘’Name’’
‘’Skye Zipulier’’ the receptionist, drops her raised hand, making it crash onto the keyboard in front of her with a loud bang.
‘’You’re Mr. Zipulier’s niece?’’
‘’Yes... were you expecting me?’’
‘’Yes, but not so soon’’ she typed in my names and handed me the printed schedule seconds later, as well as a map and keys to my ‘dorm’.
‘’thank you, Ashley’’ I say as I leave in hope to find my room. I realised it was the furthest away from the rest of the dorms.
‘’Your room is near mine’’ I look up and see Jamie right next to me. I thought he had stayed with Ashley.
‘’Come on, I know exactly where you are’’ we turn right and down the corridor until we’re outside. Once there we turn left and go up the stairs. When we’re on the third floor I scan for my number and realise, it’s the only dorm here. The rest of the hallway is empty. Cautiously I knock on the door and get no answer. I unlock the door and peer in. Inside is a large living with an open kitchen. A white couch with black cushions rests on a thick black carpet.
Opposite the couch are a plasma TV and all the latest games consoles. The kitchen is cream and brown with cream floors, brown units and a table. To the left of the plasma is a door. Through it is a short hallway. The first door on my left is a toilet. The second door is the bedroom. Its design scheme is similar to the living. It has the same thick black carpet, a metal king sized with a grey silk cover and matching white and grey pillows.
On top of the bed are three selves filled with books. Behind the door is a walk in wardrobe, occupying someone’s clothes. To the right hand side of the bed is a sofa and some bean bags. Hanging next to the door is another plasma TV. On the other side of the bed is another door. Inside is a Jacuzzi bath tub and shower.
