He looked at me with his deep blue eyes, and brushed his shaggy, dirty blond hair out of the way. "Are you alright?" I asked as I pressed an ice pack against his blue and purple ankle. "Yeah, I guess..." He responded, wincing a little when I shifted my hand to the scrape on his calf. "Alex, can I ask you something?" I said to him. "Shoot." "Do you... like anyone?" He looked at me again with his icy blue eyes. "I'm a thirteen year-old boy, what do you expect?" I looked down at my hand and said, "I don't know..." "Well to answer your question, yes I do." He said with an expression that could only be made by someone who meant it. "Oh, okay" I said shifting my attention back to his sprained ankle. We were both silent until the gym teacher came back with a tensor bandage for him. "Bella?" he said as I stood up. "Could you help me put on my tensor bandage? I've never done it before." "Sure" I sat back down and started to wrap his ankle. Once I'd finished, I helped him to the office where his parents would pick him up. I felt kind of guilty for leaving him there, after all, I was the one who sprained his ankle in the first place.
We had been playing basketball in gym, and let's just say that I'm an aggressive defence. He had the ball, and his team was making it's way down the court. I'd rather not go into detail, but I ended up tripping him, because I was so nervous about getting close to him that I panicked and stumbled over my own feet. He twisted his ankle tripping over my legs, and scraped his calf on the bench next to the wall. The entire gym class saw. I helped him into the gym office and stayed with him.
