Slenderman P.O.V.

As the wall crumbles I see Emerald standing back a ways, shaking. "Emerald! Are you okay, my darling?" I ask, running over to embrace her. She says nothing and holds on to me for dear life. I frown and say, "Let's get you out of here to a safe place."

      "No."

I look down in confusion. "Why do you say that? You're obviously scared of this place, so why do you not want to go?" She continues to nuzzle her face into my torso. "You should go back into hiding for now. I need time to think." I push her away from me and lift her chin up, so that we're looking each other in the eye. Her eyes are puffy, red, and shiny with tears close to falling. "What are you talking about?" I search her eyes for answers, but I find nothing.

She sniffles and lifts herself up on her toes to give me a kiss. I jerk back in surprise, but soon find myself kissing her back. She pulls back after a second or two and looks down at the ground, her head resting on my chest. "If you insist we go to a safe place, then just bring me back to Kasper's house." She pleads in a quiet voice. I continue to look at her in worry. What happened in there that made her this way?

"Okay." I say. I then hold her tight as we begin to teleport to the house.

"What's wrong with your human, Slenderman?" Trenderman asks in a hushed voice. I sigh and say, "I don't know." Ever since we got to the house, which was about an hour and a half ago, she's been in her room with her door shut.

"What do you think happened?" Trenderman asks. "Well, she obviously didn't put herself in that cave, considering the entrance had been blocked, so it's easy to assume that someone kidnapped her." I respond. "Do you believe it was a murder attempt?" Trenderman asks. I shake my head and reply, "I'm not sure. If it was, wouldn't she be dead now? She was missing for at least two hours, wasn't she? Why would someone kidnap her and then just leave her in a cave if they wanted to kill her?"

The room went silent as both Trenderman and I became deep in thought.

"Has there been sign of the Enforcer?" I ask with my arms folded.

Trenderman's head shoots up, and says in a hurt and annoyed voice, "Do you really have so little faith in your family? Besides, if he was nearby, then we would have been able to tell. He's got an energy signal bigger than his massive ego! That and I can sense ghastly fashion choices from miles away..." He snarls in disgust as he thinks about it.

"Yes, but I'm sure he's fully capable of hiding all that energy of his. We both know that he is more powerful than all of us and is capable of things that we are not." I say calmly. "With that being said, is there any way that he could have detected her or were there any strange occurrences that would hint at his presence?" Trenderman goes silent as he contemplates the answers to my questions.

"Well, you're not going to like this, but... your human did get away from the house on one occasion and Slenderwoman did think she sensed a powerful presence the day she was captured..." My surprise quickly becomes anger as I listen to his answer. These things happened and they didn't think to tell me about it?!

I begin to grow taller and look down at him menacingly as I say, "She was exposed and possibly found and you didn't care to tell me?" Trenderman was beginning to look a bit uncomfortable. "We knew that if we told you, you would have flipped out. With that in mind, we all unanimously agreed to keep the information from you."

"You, brother, may be older than me, but you never cease to amaze me with your incompetence." I growl. Anger begins to ignite in his features as he grows up to my height. "I did what I felt would keep the peace! There was a chance that the Enforcer didn't find her while she was out, so I saw no reason to worry you with something that hadn't even happened. Also, Slenderwomen didn't tell me of her findings until it was too late. Your accusations are false kiddo."
