Cassandra's POV:
Cassandra had just finished eating dinner with her parents and sister. She had gone downstairs to her room to see if Isaac had called. He hadn't.
"What a surprise," she mumbled sarcastically.
She would just have to call him instead. She scrolled through her contacts until her eyes found his name. She touched it with her thumb then pressed call.
Ring Ring Ring Ring
She waited patiently for him to pickup his phone. When he didn't pick up she called him again. Still no answer. She sighed in frustration. What could be so important that he couldn't pick up his damn phone. She then gave up calling him and settled for leaving a text.
Call me back asap. Just want to talk. :)
She turned her phone from silent so she would hear if he called or texted her back.

Double update! Sorta. Just several short chapters put into one. Anyways, continue.

Isaac's POV:
He sat alone on the bathroom floor, curled in the fetal position. Tears were running down his cheeks in a steady stream.
Why? Why me? Why today?
He couldn't think straight. He wasn't in any physical pain. Isaac was afraid of his own thoughts as he forced his mind to shut them out. He breathed carefully, trying to put himself back together. It was like trying to lift a 200 pound weight. The more you lift the weaker you get. He couldn't fight it, so he just let the pain take him away.
Ring Ring Ring
Cassandra. He forgot to call her back. His hands shook as he reached for his phone that he had abandoned beside the sink. He scrambled to answer the phone before she hung up. She had called earlier but he hadn't heard it. She must have given up waiting for him to call back. He held the phone to his ear as he mumbled a quiet, "Hello".
Her voice came through the phone in a worried tone, "Isaac? It that you? You sound off."
"I umm-"
"It's happening agian isn't it? The panic attacks."
"Uh huh."
"I'll be there in three hours."
"Cassandra," Isaac said, "Don't. It's two in the morning."
" Exactly. I couldn't sleep and it seems that neither could you. I'll text my parents when they wake up. They understand whats happening. They will be okay with it. I'm not leaving you alone when you need me."
" Wh-"
"Don't even think about telling me that you can handle it. I know you can but I won't let you be alone. I know how this went last time and I refuse to let anything happen to you. I will get a room at that hotel by the mall. I'll text you when I get there. Hang in there."
She hung up before he could protest. He had no one else to turn to and his best friend knew it. He was grateful to have such a great friend. She could be a little extreme but that was just a part of her. He smiled in spite of how he had just felt. There was no better best friend.
He pushed himslef into a standing position and picked up his phone. He slipped out of the bathroom as silently as he could and went back to his room. He was exhausted from the emotional rollercoaster he had just experienced.
Setting his alarm for three hours (In case she was early), Isaac fell into a deep sleep.

Cassandra's POV:
She threw all the stuff she would need for the weekend that she planned to stay for, in a bag. Luckily It was Saturday morning so she wouldn't miss school.
She grabbed the keys to her truck, as she rushed out the door. She was determined to be there for her friend. He needed her and she would do anything she could to help him. He was like family to her. She couldn't be happy unless he was.
Before she knew it, she was headed down the gravel road that lead out to the highway. The highway that would take her home. The city would always be her home. The city with her best friend.
