Diary entry 2: Jackson

Its the second day of being in the dorm with everyone.

I'm pretty sure Mark has an eating disorder. I caught him calling himself fat and useless and countless other things.

I want to confront him, but I'm scared he'll hate me.

I really don't know what to do.

I want him to be okay, I want to be misunderstanding, but I remember Mom's sister was like this when she had bulimia.

I hope he's okay, and that's all I can do for now.

Hope.

- Jackson

After Mark's shower, Jackson saw him come into their bedroom, his sleeves pulled down extra tightly and his eyes red and puffy.

"Mark! We're all making breakfast in a few minu- what happened to you?!" Jackson shrieked, after noticing Mark's red face. "Sorry," he added, seeing Mark flinch.

"Me? I-I don't know... what happened to m-me?" Mark stuttered, quietly, voice shaky.

Jackson hesitated, feeling guilty since he knew what was going on. He didn't want to pressure Mark. We only met the other day, anyway. Probably doesn't trust me. Jackson internally sighed. "If you insist... but you can tell me if you want," Jackson smiled as warmly as possible, and Mark simply smiled weakly, sadly. Jackson was upset just seeing him like this.

Jackson, without warning, walked up to Mark and hugged him tightly, caringly. Mark was shocked at first and twitched his raw arm away, but found Jackson's scent and strong arms quite comforting.

"Thank you," Mark closed his eyes and snuggled into Jackson's neck. "Thank you..."

"Its okay. I'm always here," Jackson smiled cheerfully, making Mark feel a little better.

Jackson didn't fail to notice how Mark flinched when he touched his right wrist, nor did he miss the fact that Mark wrenched it away from Jackson when they hugged.

Sigh.

Jackson left the room after Mark had fallen asleep again and entered the kitchen where Jinyoung was 'cooking'.

"What are you making?"

"Salad."

"How boring..." Jackson rested his head in his hands on the table top.

"We haven't got the diet yet, but manager-hyung says it should be here later today, tomorrow at the latest." Jinyoung sighed. "I hate this stupid company. Why did I audition, shame on me, I'm hardly even talented en-" Jinyoung began, but he was interrupted by a wide eyed and panicking Jackson.

"You auditioned because it's your dream and you are talented enough. Imagine how talented you'll be after we debut? All the training! And yes, the company is... not the best, but we'll get through it. Together," Jackson smiled encouragingly.

"You're right, I guess..." Jinyoung kept 'cooking' the salad.

A few hours after, a loud knock on the dorm door sounded throughout the kitchen.

"Coming, hyung!"

Jaebum opened the door worriedly.

The manager stepped in, pushing Jaebum to the side. "Everyone to the kitchen, now," He yelled.

A few seconds later, everyone came out of their rooms, biting their lips and fidgeting. Nervous.

Please don't mention weight again... Jackson mentally pleaded with his manager.
