Diary entry 4: Jackson

Why is it that I get overly flustered when Mark compliments me?

Why is it that Mark seems to think he is fat?

He's far from. I hate seeing him lie to get out of surviving.

I have to keep trying, even if it's getting Jaebum to shower alone so Mark has to shower with me. I hate showering with Jaebum anyway, he's so tall and the showerhead is too far above me.

I hate showering with others in general, but I suppose that it's for Mark's sake. If he freaks out, then he'll know I know. We'll see what happens.

- Jackson

Jackson got up earlier than Mark that morning. He wanted to make Mark feel good about himself to the best of his ability, so he had a plan in mind.

It was four in the morning, but Jackson was determined, so woke up without dawdling. He checked that Mark was still asleep, which he was, and silently lowered himself to the safety of the floor. Making sure that Mark didn't wake up, Jackson went over to his suitcase and fished out a pen and post-it notes. He wanted to write something sweet but uplifting for Mark. He clicked the pen, and placed it on the page, beginning to write.

Good morning, Markie~! Jackson tore off the top note and put it on Mark's nightstand, right in front of the clock.

I know it's early, but please sleep in? You run every day, I'm sure you'll be fine to skip it for once. Jackson smiled to himself as he tore off this note, placing it on Mark's suitcase.

Instead, lets spend the morning together and have fruit salad for breakfast~ Come into the kitchen, I'll be there! =^_^= Jackson left this note on the door.

Looking over the three notes he left, he smiled satisfiedly and left to the kitchen. He began to prepare fruit salad.

I'll have to ask Mark his favourite fruits sometime, Jackson thought to himself, grinning happily. I'm sure he'd like that.

Jackson looked up when he heard footsteps at the kitchen doorway. He was biting his lips, but the sight of Mark's bright smile allowed the biggest smile of all morning to grace his lips. He was happy that Mark was happy.

How cheesy, Jackson chuckled to himself.

"Good morning," Jackson whispered. Mark, he noticed, was still in his pyjamas, which relieved Jackson.

"Morning," Mark yawned in reply. "I got your sticky notes. They were adorable."

"Why thank you. I see you did decide to come eat breakfast with me?"

Hesitantly, Mark nodded. "Yes."

"Yay! Come here, help me make it, will you?" Jackson teased.

A cheeky smiled tickled the corners of Mark's lips. Why is he so perfect?

A few minutes passed, and breakfast was done. Jackson put it into two bowls and was about to give one to Mark when he felt two arms wrap around his waist, warmly.

"Thanks, Jackson," Mark said into his ear. Jackson smiled.

"No problem," Jackson didn't understand why he had butterflies, which intensified as soon as Mark placed his lips onto Jackson's skin, planting a chaste kiss and letting go. Mark took the salad from Jackson and smiled. Jackson followed Mark to the couch and sat down, Mark leaning on his shoulder slightly.

What's gotten into Mark this morning? Jackson wondered, but appreciated the affection all the same.

As soon as Jackson settled down and chose the channel to watch with Mark, Yugyeom and Bambam left their rooms and came into the kitchen.
