Diary entry 7: Jackson
So last night was extremely intense, and I don't know how to come to terms with what happened...
I'll have to be upfront and tell him it was nothing ...
- Jackson
When the morning arrived, both Mark and Jackson woke up with immediate flashbacks of the night's events. Mark decided to get up first, and when he came down the ladder of the bunk, he snuck a peek at Jackson and saw he was looking at him. He quickly blushed and looked away.
He probably doesn't ever want to see me again, I'm too fat for him...
Jackson blushed as soon as Mark looked away.
How will I tell him? I kissed back, he probably thinks I like him... shit, Jackson, what have you gotten yourself into?
He shook his head.
Gay.
He shook it harder.
Mark walked to the bathroom, checking that the members were all asleep. Two more days until their day off.
Making his way into the bathroom, he turned on the shower and removed his shirt. He looked at the sleeve, confused, after noticing red stains, and checked his band-aids, which had become undone. He sighed. Another bloodstained shirt. Ripping them off, he placed them in the bin, making sure they were covered with a sufficient amount of toilet paper, and got into the shower.
Jinyoung woke up to see Jackson shaking him.
"W-what time is it?" He asked groggily.
"Four."
Jinyoung groaned.
"I'll go get everyone else up."
"Don't worry about it, I'll do it if you make something to eat." Jackson said, sounding exhausted and sleep-deprived.
"Alright. You look exhausted."
"I am exhausted, the most sleep I've gotten in three days is around eight hours." Jackson shrugged and walked away, to wake up the other members.
The day went on as usual, as did the following one. Mark didn't eat dinner, Jackson stressed about him and continued to go through his Instagram, and the other members continued to have no energy and wake up fatigued every morning.
Their day off was, however, quite different.
They had a concert in a few days, and despite being only backup dancers, most of the members practised at the studio, leaving Mark and Jackson behind.
Jackson decided that today would be the day to end the awkwardness with Mark.
"Mark?" Jackson called, nervously, from the living room.
Mark froze upon the sound of Jackson's voice, and looked up at the bedroom door.
"M-Mark?" Jackson repeated.
"I'm in here," Mark replied, voice shaky.
Jackson made his way into the room.
"Mark, I need to talk to you about the other night-"
"Me too. I'm sorry," Mark chewed his lip and suppressed tears. Why do I mess up so badly?
"No, I'm sorry. It's not like we have feelings for each other, right?" Jackson looked up.
Mark froze and blushed red.
"N-No, not at a-all..."
"It was out of line, I'm sorry. We're friends, we're both guys."
