SORRY FOR THE LONG UPDATE

'I should have enough money to buy a sword'  Rin thought as she walked through the middle of town. "Excuse me miss" she said with her practiced smile to a woman. "Yes?" she said stopping in her tracks.

Rin: I'm sorry if I'm taking your time, but could you please tell me where I could buy a katana at this town? I'm new here *smile*

Valixia: Oh, it's okay. If you take that alley over there and take the next right you should come about a shop like that

Rin: Okay, arigato gozaimas (thank you very much). *bow* Have a good day.

Valixia: Haha, you too.

'See? I wonder how he was able to tell, about the smile. I think it's pretty convincing'

----------------

'According to her, it should be around here somewhere' Rin thought as she kept walking. The right she took had sent her to the forest and so she was wondering if the woman even bothered to give her the correct direction.

'I think I see something'

She moved away the bushes and walked up. The building in front of her was an old wooden home. No one seemed to be inside but there was a sound of metal clashing from behind the house.

'An old wooden house with one room in a forest. Reminds me of things. Just splendid'

"Oh, is anybody there?" came a voice from behind the house as the clashing sound stopped. Rin walked around the house to look at the speaker's face.

There was an old man, not really old he was middle-aged. He had a hat on, with grey beard, wearing a green striped shirt with black shorts. He was on the ground, cross-legged -looks like he was making a sword.

"Oh, hello there. It's not everyday that I get customers! How may I help you, young lady?" he said.

"I'd like to buy a sword, please"

"Oh, I see. Well, what perfect timing! I was just thinking what to do what to do with that sword"

"That sword?" asked Rin.

"Oh come with me please. I'll show you something" he said as he stood up and went into the little house, followed by Rin.

The house was actually bigger than Rin imagined it to be. The right side had a desk with a chair, and on top of the desk seemed to lay some papers with scribbling and doodling, or it could be actual writing. Who knows, Rin didn't have that good of an eye sight.

On the middle, there was a huge bookshelf filled with books. The books looked old, really old. There were probably for his entertainment. On the left there were some boxes, probably finished swords, sheaths, food, and other stored things. The room was a little dirty, not that much though. There were some pieces of paper on the ground scattered here and there, piles of dust and other garbage.

"Oh, it's okay. If you want I'll bring it outside" he said, concerned that Rin might not like that kind of environment. But who was he to know, Rin was used to this. It was pretty normal actually, not only for Rin.

"It's fine, I don't mind" she said and followed him to the left side of the room.

There, he removed some boxes and put them down, then moved those to other places, while dust from the old rusted boxes flew and both of them had to cough. But it wasn't long till he found what he was looking for.

"Oh, aha! Here it is! The Sword of Memories!"

To be continued....

Again, I'm VERY sorry for the late update!! And, Sword of Memories~ Coincidence? I think not!
