Kieth's P.O.V.
"Are you kidding me right now old man?! Bakit mo ba siya pinauwi dito?!" - I yelled at my father.
I don't care if I wake Aliyah up. I need to get things straight!
And as soon as dumating sa bahay ang tatay ko, I immediately bombarded him with so much fury.
"Ssshhh! Tumahimik ka nga! Natutulog pa si Aliyah oh!" - he replied, not even minding that I screamed at his face.
I glared at him.
Ganito ang tatay ko. Manhid at sweet sa labas pero isang demonyo sa loob. Just wait and see. Sa kanya kaya ako nagmana.
He mentioned me to follow him and I did.
Pumasok kami sa private library niya at ng nanay ko noon.
Simula nung namatay ang nanay ko, he never laid a foot inside this room ever since.
And seeing that he's taking me here is such a big deal to both of us.
Umupo siya sa seat niya by the fireplace at ako naman sa upuan na dati ay sa nanay ko.
"I want to know what the f*ck is she doing here? Akala ko ba pagkatapos pa namin mag-aral siya babalik dito?" - I asked. Not wasting any time.
He sighed and took off his eyeglasses.
"I gave her the permission to come here because she said she misses you!" - he said in a rather too bubbly tone for my taste.
"Oh really? 5 years kaming hindi nagkikita and all of a sudden pababalikin mo siya dito after the agreement we made? And I've known Aliyah my entire life dad. If she really missed me that much, then she would've come the day after she arrived in Canada." - I said in a very serious tone.
You see, Aliyah's mom and my mom were very close friends. Her mom was a famous fashion designer and my mom was the wife of a wealthy man who owned various game companies. They said they were friends since high school and that they promised to always be friends. Sappy as it sounds, its true. When I was born, Aliyah's mom got pregnant and the father ran away and ditched his responsibilities. Aliyah's mom was devastated and soon after Aliyah was born, she died of both from pregnancy and depression. After that, my mom took Aliyah in. Not as her adopted daughter but her future daughter-in-law. Normal? no. Psychotic? yes. Well, sa piningin ko anyway.
Years later, my mom died. And my dad took care of Aliyah.
Since then, we lived under the same roof and spent most of our time together as kids.
I have to admit. She was my best friend. But when she started acting like a crazed psychotic girlfriend around my classmates, I was led to think that she wasn't the friend I used to know.
Naging clingy, possessive, and overly protective siya sa'kin. And we weren't even a thing back then. I had no feelings whatsoever for that psychotic b*tch and yet she still kept on latching on to me.
It was sickening to look at. And I felt suffocated whenever I was with her.
Then one day, hindi ko na kinaya. Sumabog ako at walang naka-awat sa'kin. I gave her a verbal beating that she could never forget.
And of course, umiyak siya. She ran to my father and seeked protection.
Sinubukan ni daddy na ipagbati kami pero nothing worked on me. I had enough of all that sh*t.
