In memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

He fought for equality. He fought for his rights. He fought for those without a voice. He fought for his humanity. He fought with peace. He fought for his faith. He fought for freedom to vote without shame. He fought for a single dream. He fought not asking for fame just for equality of colors. For those of any color to have a name.

AN: Today is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. And although it may not affect those of you who are not American. Dr. MLK Jr. is a major figure in American history and the reason we can all accept each other in our nation without segregation, prejudice, or racism. That is not to say that racism no longer exists because unfortunately it does. We still have hate groups like KKK. But I am proud to say that segregation died in the 1960s. And the main leader of our civil rights movement was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Other major figures include Rosa Parks and later on figures such as Ceasar Chavez. Who encouraged equal pay. And today we remember how people like them have affected our country. And how we improved as a nation. And it doesn't matter if you are black, white, Latino, middle-eastern, European, female, male, or whatever or whoever you are because you are entitled to the same rights as every other person in this nation. So thank to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. And other people who have become figures representing equality and acceptance. You are appreciated.
