Inevitable, they say
Friends will always drift away
It won't ever be forever
Such a concept is a myth
Despite such claims my endeavor remains
I beg to differ
I say we must try
If such things are inevitable
Then we might as well cry
To even save a single tear with effort
To keep your relationships afloat
Both must work together
One another's life boat
If it is inevitable then in sorrow we drown
Still I am an optimist
I see not only life boats
But a single light house

I actually wrote this a week or so ago, but didn't get time to publish it til now. The end of high school is coming I only have about another year and it's hard to believe we might move on or let go
