Demons + AN

Innocence is pure, yet tainted nonetheless, even those naive are faced with demons of the past. Dark monsters, no eye for mercy they devour soles. We try and try to fight these being however no mortal could ever last. The monsters they scream and pray upon youth. We try and try to escape our doom, however our fate has already been cast. Innocence is pure, yet tainted nonetheless, even those naive are faced with demons of the past.

So.....as many of you may have noticed the ending to the poem is sorta abrupt, and there's a reason for that, to be honest I almost didn't conclude it and ended it at the word cast, because my dad read my friend's and I discussion about demon poems and got upset because he didn't know who it was (it was serenityrose01 not throwing you under the btw love u I don't blame you) and he saw a lot of curse words not from me, I promise you I am not lying to when I say this, but I don't curse. I honestly don't, I mean I guess I do in my head, but I don't ever curse out loud. However serenity does. So he read it and got mad. He was already made though cause I sorta disobeyed him earlier before that and I was already grounded, that's why he had my phone, because I was in trouble and he wouldn't usually read my conversations, but he didn't know the name (because serenity is pen name and screen name for other websites) and he saw curse words and demons, because one of my apps buzzed with a notification at 1am in the morning (probably the same app,
Tumblr) so I got in more trouble and a lot of drama and the story goes on, anyways, the story behind originally writing the
poem.....

POETRY CLUB!!!! So all of last year I wanted to join poetry club however I could never find out the meeting times, this year a new poetry club was started to replace the old one by someone in my grade who was in the old poetry club, because the old poetry club no longer exists, conveniently the boyfriend of the girl who is restarting the new poetry club is in my Spanish class and told the whole class about it, so I signed up as well as my friends. So an idea they had in the club was to have a theme for every meeting and you would bring in a poem you wrote or admire for that theme, so our first theme was demons and deities, and so I chose to write a poem about demons, additionally I know that many of you write poems too some of which I read like Mirai123479 and Sadako_Kuren, so if any of you would like me to share your poem as an admired poem at poetry club, since I already love them so much, pls pm me on wattpad or tumblr or write in the comment section, my username for tumblr in case you need it is the same as wattpad JazzyAngelXD (except it might be in lowercase because blog names don't include capitals) so anyways yeah super excited about joining poetry club
