Colored eggs scatter the yard. She searches and searches, several she finds. However what she really wants is the treasure inside. Naive she plays, trades candy fair. All she can see is the happiness of Easter everywhere. The bunny is still real, and they baskets are there, innocent she was there.

As you may have noticed I've been catching up on poems a lot today. Sorry it took me so long but this is my belated Easter poem. So happy Belated Easter to those who celebrate it, also happy belated Passover.
In case you were curious I do celebrate Easter and I don't usually celebrate Passover but I went to a Passover dinner once at my grandparents' friends' house it was so fun, so if you do celebrate it, it's an awesome tradition! Also unfortunately I don't believe in the Easter Bunny anymore as I implied in the poem but I still love searching for eggs my family puts out, my favorite are the money eggs cause I throw away most of the candy anyway.
