Becca and Harry walked down the road, talking quietly and comfortably.
"So, why did you decide to pull a fairy tale thing-a-ma-jig?" Becca asked, kicking a pebble off the road. Harry shrugged.
"I couldn't sleep, so I thought I'd see if you were asleep."
"Well apparently I wasn't. So now what do we do?"
"I don't know. Want to just walk for a while?" Becca laughed softly then replied, taking a skipping step,
"OK. So, what type of music do you like?" They talked about music for a while before they started walking back towards Becca's house. Becca was telling Harry about the time she and her sister recorded several songs, covers that is, when they got back to Becca's house. She leaned against the gate, then Harry said,
"Thanks for coming. I really dunno what I would've done." Becca laughed, tilting her head back and turning around once before facing him again.
"That was so dramatic." She said. Harry laughed before answering,
"That was kind of a weird way to laugh. Very theatrical." He said, trying to be graceful. Becca laughed again.
"Yeah, don't try to be dramatic Harry, you just embarrass yourself." Harry pretended to be offended.
"Oh, and you're dramatic."
"I can be graceful with people's help." Harry tilted his head.
"Like how?" Becca grimaced.
"You did not just say that. Anyways, like this." She lifted up his arm, then put her own hand in his, lifting her leg up and spinning around gracefully. She put her foot back down on the ground and pulled her hand out of his, bowing dramatically.
"Like so. That's how graceful tall people do it. You know what, I'm actually gonna take that title away from myself because I'm the clumsiest person I know." Harry laughed.
"Would you stop making me laugh? It's starting to hurt my stomach. Anyway, I'm pretty sure we're equally clumsy." Becca rolled her eyes before saying, stretching her arms above her head,
"Well, I think I better go get some sleep now. Good night, Harry." She said, giving him a side hug. Harry returned the hug. She jumped over the gate closing her family's driveway from the stray animals around there, and walked up the driveway, climbing the porch rails up to her window, where she disappeared.

The next night, after a long half day of teaching Harry how to skateboard and then another long half of a half day of watching her young relatives, Becca went to bed at six thirty in the evening, falling asleep as soon as her head touched the pillow.
She woke up at one AM, hearing the same tapping on her window as she had heard the previous night. She sat up, stretching and taking a deep breath before getting off her bed and looking out the window, to see Harry standing in the same place as last night. She smiled and pulled on the same black hoodie, getting on some jeans over her leggings as well. She got her shoes on and climbed out the window, going down the driveway and over the gate with Harry.
"You know, we're gonna have to do something about the lack of sleep if we keep doing this." She mentioned, kicking a rock off the road. Harry shrugged.
"I've gone without sleep for a long time before." He said, watching as Becca pulled out her phone, choosing music, letting Viva La Vida play. She put it in her hoodie pocket, something glinting in her eyes before she turned her head upwards, looking at the clear sky.
