The Lucky One

Becca and Katy were now in Alabama, the old town Becca used to live near for nine years of her life. The two concerts they were doing there were special to Becca, because before she and Katy began to be popular at age ten, none of her favorite artists came to the city of Huntsville.

It was the night of their first concert there, and they were getting ready. Becca was changing into clothes Laura had picked out for her; black shorts going to her knees, a white long sleeved shirt, a black fedora with a white band around the crown, with black and white high tops. Katy meanwhile had lost a bet to Becca, so she was wearing the outfit her best friend had picked out for her, this being black somewhat tight jeans with black combat boots and a fitting black t shirt with a black fedora. Becca told her, when she put it on, that she should wear black more often; it looked good on her. She was considering it, plus she could do so much more with pants on, not having to worry about her skirt flying up.

Katy was currently trying to convince Becca to wear her hair down for the concert, so the fans would see how much it had grown, but Becca wasn't having it.

"I'm not wearing my hair down except for showers for a year, Katy. That was the deal I made with Harry."

"You guys are so weird." Katy teased. Becca scoffed, looping her boom Mic over her ear.

"WE are awesome." Katy laughed, holding still as a crew member hooked up her inner ears, and asked,

"We're going to sing You Belong With Me right?"

"And Haunted. I love that song." Becca said, and Katy laughed.

"Pretty sure the whole world knows that, love." Becca just smiled before looking at her phone and typing something she didn't let Katy see.

"What are you dooooiiiing?" Katy dragged out the word childishly, making Becca laugh before putting her phone in a crew member's hand, and said,

"Something you can't know about yet. Come on, let's say our prayer." Katy rolled her eyes then nodded, kneeling down and saying a Hail Mary with Becca before standing up. Their microphones were turned on, and the song Becca wrote, Sparks Fly, began to play. Becca took the black electric guitar that was handed to her, pulling the strap over her shoulder. She twisted the pick around in her fingers, glancing at Katy before the huge screen in front of them lifted, and she started playing with the music.

They continued to play State of Grace, Holy Ground, Enchanted, Ho Hey, Give Your Heart a Break, all songs from their album Twilight Skies, then they played Red, the song both Katy and Becca had written about past relationships. After Red, they began playing You Belong With Me. For this song, Katy and Becca sat on the walkway, both with acoustic guitars on their laps, Becca playing the beginning chords for a few seconds before saying,

"You know, there's a reason we chose this song for tonight. Katy doesn't exactly know the reason why though. Would you guys care to tell her?" Katy looked at Becca in confusion, then her eyes widened as she heard what everyone was shouting, 'Niall'. She looked back at Becca to see her grinning widely.

"Ok, apparently she's still confused."

"That's an understatement!" Katy explained, her Mic picking it up. Becca laughed then said,

"Well Katy, look to your left in the fourth row, seventh seat." Katy gave Becca a weird look but did as she said, being shocked into silence when she saw Niall sitting in the audience.

"Niall! Get your dirty Irish self up here!" Becca exclaimed. "Hey, guys, get him up here!" The fans started pushing him towards the stage, and Becca laughed in delight as he and Katy hugged.

"Yay, the cute ones reunited!" Katy laughed at her friend's silliness, then Becca said, pushing Niall away,

"Ok get off the stage we gotta continue the show. You can cuddle or whatever afterwards." Niall laughed and went back to his seat, and they played the rest of the songs. Becca played every single one on either an electric or acoustic guitar, with Katy joining in a few times on her acoustic guitar. They both played guitars for the last song, The Lucky One.

After they finished the three hour long concert, Becca and Katy went into the dressing room, where Harry and Niall were waiting. Katy and Niall sat down on the couch, being all cute and stuff, while Becca went to take a shower.
