"I want to do a collaboration with Ariana Grande." Katy mentioned.

Katy and Becca were sitting on Becca's bed, talking about what to do in the next upcoming album. Katy hadn't suggested much, letting Becca do most of the planning. Until Becca was out of ideas.

"That's a good idea. Do you want to write the song?" Katy shrugged.

"Sure. You're gonna write most of the songs for the collaborations for this album, I should write more." Becca rubbed her neck.

"You don't have to if you don't want to."

"It's fine, I want to." Katy grinned at Becca, who smiled, then popped her back in, and stood up.

"It'll be nice when we don't have to go through this every year." She said, pulling a big sweater over her head. Katy giggled at Becca when she had the sweater on. The sleeves went well past her hands, the edge of the sweater reaching out past her thighs.

"You look so small in that." Katy laughed, and Becca sat on the bed again, covering her face with the sleeves, leaving only her eyes uncovered, which she batted childishly at Katy.

The days went by quickly, and soon it was the day before the performance, and Becca, Katy, Niall, Harry, Louis, Liam and the girls' band were staying at a hotel, because it was easier than driving from home. Niall, Harry, Katy and Becca were taking a break from sound check by going to a nearby park and messing around.

Becca and Katy were wearing matching black jeans with a black t shirt, but Becca was wearing her usual tough black converse while Katy was wearing black flats.

Becca was currently on the swings, trying to do a hand-stand. Harry came over from the see saws where he was talking with Katy, and Becca was concentrating so hard she didn't hear him coming until he startled her into falling off the swings.

"OK, ouch, ooh man I should NOT have been doing that for so long." She said, laughing slightly as she sat on the swing next to Harry.

"What are you doing?" Harry asked, swinging slightly, keeping his gaze on Becca. She shrugged.

"Just being weird and thinking."

"About what?"

"About us, to be honest."

"What about us?" Harry queried, getting slightly nervous. Becca chuckled.

"Relax, I was thinking how great it is." Harry gave a relieved sigh, then laughed once.

"Good, because I don't know what I'd do if you ended things with me." Becca rolled her eyes, but smiled softly.

"Neither would I." Harry reached out his right hand, taking her hand in his, intertwining their fingers.

Later that night, Becca was lying on her bed as Katy slept peacefully, but she was wide awake; because she was hungry. More particularly, she was hungry for donuts. And she couldn't sleep until she got some. So she got up, pulled on leggings, a baggy t shirt, and converse, putting her phone in her pocket, as well as her wallet, and went out of the hotel room, down to the the room she knew Harry was in. She knocked then put her hands behind her back, dancing around a bit as she waited for the door to be opened. Niall opened the door, thankfully still completely clothed, and greeted Becca cheerfully.

"Hi Niall. Are you hungry?" She asked.

"Yeah, I'm almost always hungry. Why?"

"Because I really crave donuts right now and I want to go get some but I promised dad I wouldn't go anywhere alone, just in case. So can you come get some with me?"

"Why don't you ask Harry?"

"He told me he'd be going to bed and he texted me when he did, and that you were staying up." Niall chuckled.

"Wow, you guys really tell each other everything. OK, I'll come, just give me a minute." Becca squealed excitedly, eagerly running down the stairs once Niall was out. He took the elevator, but somehow Becca still beat him.

At the car, there was a bit of argument as to who would drive, but Becca won by saying she'd spent more time here than he had. They drove to Dunkin Donuts, where Becca ordered five powdered jelly filled donuts, five donut holes, two glazed donuts and a drink of water. Niall looked at her doubtfully as he sat down with his donuts, and asked,

"Are you really gonna eat all that?" Becca chuckled sinisterly.

"That's what I'm planning on." She replied, and Niall laughed, taking out his phone.

"This, has to be documented." Becca laughed, grinning at the phone camera Niall pointed at her, then began to eat. She did indeed manage to eat all the donuts, and drank all her water.

"Wow, I'll be honest, I did not expect you to finish all those."

Becca chuckled, wiping the powder away from her mouth, and drank some more water before replying,

"Well, now you know too never underestimate my eating skills. Harry used to, but he doesn't anymore."

At this, Niall's face became serious.

"Becca, you do realize... Harry really loves you." Becca sighed, resting her head on her crossed arms, which were on the table.

"I know. I think what people don't realize, is I don't show my feelings. I'm scared to. I love him so much, it seems impossible at times... Probably if I didn't have Harry, I would still be cutting." She clapped a hand over her mouth, realizing what she just said. Niall stared at her in astonishment.

"What?" He finally asked, and Becca sighed again before beginning to explain.

"You've heard our third and fourth album, right?" Niall nodded.

"Then you probably noticed most of those songs are sad and break up slash betrayal songs. There is a reason for that. When I was fifteen, while we were touring for the third album, I was dating this kind of unknown guy, mainly to help him get better known. But I started to like him, like, a lot. Then he started getting abusive, threatening to hurt Katy if I broke up with him. I didn't break up with him, because at the time I couldn't defend myself, I was only just starting to learn how. So, for a year, I was so depressed about putting Katy in danger, and he cut me down a lot too, calling me fat and a slut as well as far less pleasant things, that I cut. Every day. The pain was my drug. Once Katy found out, she tried to help me stop and it helped a bit, but I still did it. Then, I knew Tae Kwon Do well enough to defend myself and Katy, so I broke up with him. He did try to hurt Katy, but I stopped him. And I warned him that if he ever came near us again I would really hurt him. After that, I was a lot better, but I still cut. I was just five weeks clean when I met Harry and you guys. I haven't cut since I met you guys, but if something were to happen with me and Harry, I would probably get right back into cutting. Luckily I was smart enough to cut where you can't see it with clothes on."

Niall was silent, apparently digesting what Becca had just told him.

"And I had surgery to get the scars removed. Mom and dad thought I should so I wouldn't get depressed when I saw them." Niall raised his eyebrows, then considered something for a little while longer.

"So you really love Harry?" Becca nodded.

"Yes."

"Good. I'm sorry about what you went through." Becca smiled then shrugged.

"Everyone has rough patches in their lives. What about you?" She asked suddenly, surprising Niall.

"What about me?"

"Do you love Katy?" He swallowed roughly, and Becca waited patiently for an answer.

"Just so you know, she's been through heartbreak from a guy as well, so I have to make sure you're not going to hurt her." Niall's eyes widened.

"No, I would never hurt her. I guess, maybe, definitely... I do love her." He said it quickly, flushing as he did.

"That is so awesome!" Becca exclaimed, getting up to hug him. Niall laughed and hugged her back. After a bit more talk in the donut shop, they went back to the hotel, to their separate rooms, and fell asleep.
