The next day, I found myself pacing back and forth in the small room I call home in Naruto's apartment, still slapping my face over and over again from the night before. I was still in disbelief, I mean, I had to be in denial right? I must've dreamt up the whole thing. And after that whole thing, I had gone back to the group and they didn't even suspect anything! Which made it worse! Why didn't anyone question me more? Make me tell them the truth, or something. But what could I have said? Hey, I saw Sasuke in the forest, and he tried to...

"Gaah!" I cried out, throwing myself onto my bed, and repeatedly hitting my face with my pillow.

"... Mimi-Chan?" A quiet voice called, along with a knock shortly afterwards. "Is everything okay in there...?"

I let out a squeak at the unexpected and unusually quiet voice, but quickly recognized it to be Naruto's voice. "I'm okay!" I yelled back, peeking from underneath the pillow.

Naruto cracked the door open, looking at me with concern. "Are you sure? You've been in here since last night."

"Yep!" I replied and threw the pillow off of me, quickly sitting up and fixing my now crazy hair. "You can come in, you know."

He hesitated for a second before swinging the door open fully and taking a step into my room. I raised an eyebrow at him as he just stood there uncomfortably, with his arms resting behind his back. I waited for him to take any more steps but apparently he turned timid overnight.

Speaking of, he had been acting weird yesterday too. And then when Ryuu found me in the forest, he acted like he knew something about Naruto. It didn't stop there, either. When I had returned to the group, Naruto completely avoided me. So, now we're here, and he's still acting weird. Maybe because of what he had to tell me? Which was apparently something everyone seemed to know about besides me.

"What's up, Naruto?" I asked, tilting my head at him.

Naruto scratched his head sheepishly, not even glancing up at me or anything. "Uhh..."

Since he wasn't going to come to me, I decided to go to him. I swiftly walked up next to him and placed a hand on his forehead. "You're starting to worry me, are you sick?"

Naruto stumbled away from my touch, almost running right into my dresser. "A-ah..."

I blinked at him, slowly lowering my hand back down. "Oh..."

"Mimi, I--"

"You're definitely sick." I told him, pressing my mouth in a tight line. "We should get you to bed or something." I said, gently pushing him out of my room and through the living room. It wasn't very hard to do, he was acting like my touch was a virus or something.

"Wait, Mimi--"

"I know, I know. I'll make you soup, don't worry!" I promised heartily, sending him a big grin.

"Wait, no--"

"I know, you want ramen, I get it. But soup is what you're going to get." I insisted, shaking my head lightly.

"Naomi!--"

I carefully pushed him onto his bed, and threw the blankets over him before placing my hand on his forehead again. "Did you get warmer?! Your face is all red."

"That's not what it is!" He cried out in frustration, grabbing my hand. "That's definitely not what it is!"

"Oh..." I said, tilting my head innocently. "Why didn't you say so?"

Naruto stared at me incredulously, his mouth slightly opened. "... Really?"

"What?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.
