What's All the Commotion About?

I was happy that things were good with Niall again, maybe things would go back to normal. I still felt bad about Harry, how did I never know that he had a crush on me? Maybe what he needs is a gf. No, it can't be that. Harry has girls knocking down his door, if he really wanted a girlfriend, he would have just picked one of them.

Summer was over and it was time to go back to school. Even though Niall was this huge celebrity he still attended the same high school as a normal student, which I don't know how he thinks that's gonna work out for him. Syco, Niall's record company, also thinks it's a good idea for him to keep attending, they think it will show his fans that he is just like every other guy in the world, even though it was 100% obvious that they only did this for more publicity. It was fine by me though, it was more time I got to spend with my boyfriend.

Niall, Louis, Cassidy, and I walk into school together.

"Oh my gosh," I gasp.

"What's wrong?" asked Niall, concerned.

"Oh, nothing," I reassure him, "it's just that, I can't believe that we only have one more year after this until we go off for collage!"

"Well, for some of you guys," said Niall, "after my career takes off, Syco is pulling me out of school. I mean, I'll get my GED, but that's about it."

I pull Niall closer and lean into him to let him know that I'll miss him when he leaves.

I know I should hope that Niall's career takes off and be successful, but I can't help but be just a little bit selfish and hope that his career flops and he can stay in school with me.

"Hopefully some of us can get into college," said Cassidy, gesturing to Louis jokingly.

"Hey!" yelped Louis, "I do well in school! I mean if you count a D in AP Human Geography good."

"If you consider that good, you're gonna have to brush up on more than just Geography, you need to refresh you mind on some vocabulary because you obviously don't know what the word good means," responded Cassidy.

"Hey! Give me a break, it's an AP class!" cried Louis.

"Louis, you don't get the credit if you fail the class," I say.

"Yeah, but it's an elective, and who cares if you fail them!" said Louis nonchalantly.

"Well if they're AP classes, then collages," I say blatantly.

Louis frowned.

"Well you know what I did get in A in," asked Louis with a smirk, "Chemistry."

He turned to Cassidy with a kissy face.

Cassidy laughed and gave him a little peck on the cheek. He seemed content with that and we kept on walking.

When we got to the gate we saw groups off people whispering.

"What's going on?" I asked.

A random kid responded, "there's this new girl, and she's really hot. Even hotter than you, he said gesturing to Cassidy."

Louis stepped up, "Hey! You can't talk to my girlfriend like that!"

"Whoa," the kid responded, "I'm just telling you the facts." Then he walked away shaking his head.

"That's what the big commotion is about? A new girl? We get new students all the time, what's the big deal?" I asked.

"Well, remember the big commotion when your boyfriend  transferred here?" asked Louis.

"Yeah, I guess," I respond.

"Yeah, but the guy just said she was hotter than me, I mean, that's bound to cause some commotion," she said, laughing a little.

We all turn with an expression of "you've got to be kidding me" on our faces.

"I was just kidding," she said shyly.

I was about to turn to Louis and ask him what he's doing with this egotistical girl as his gf, when I heard a loud click click click click.

We all turn around to see a tall lean girl with long, raven black hair that shone in the light. Her skin was ivory with a certain feature that seemed to just make her glow. She had on ridiculously high heeled boots with a knee length dress and light cardigan.

"So this must be the new girl," I say.

Niall and Louis stood there with their jaws dropped.

"She's just, she's just, wow," Niall stuttered.

I hit Niall in the arm and give him a glare. He snaps out of his daze.

"But not as wow as you," he said
putting his arm around me, but still leaving his gaze on the new girl.

Cassidy tried snapping Louis out of his daze, but he wasn't even trying to hide the fact that he was staring.

I had never seen Louis like this. He never really cared about girls that much, even with Cassidy, or Ella, his old gf that he accidentally hit the head with a golf club.

I knew this girl was pretty, but I mean come on, if she gets Louis to stare, she must be some kind of siren or something.

"LOUIS THOMAS PAYNE!" yelled Cassidy, "stop staring at that girl! You have a girlfriend! Me! Remember me?"

Louis finally snapped out of it and turned toward us with a goofy smile on his face, "well I see what all the commotion was about," he said.
