Seriously?

I run to the door to try and catch up to the Niall, Louis, and Mila, wherever they are. I looked around, but I didn't see any of them anywhere.

Don't worry, I reassure myself, even if you can't find them, you'll see them in like five minutes, they have a class with you. Still, I couldn't help feeling a little bit worried and a little bit jealous. I know I shouldn't, I trust Niall, Louis, I'm not so sure about. This is uncharted territory, I don't know how Louis will react or what he'll do. Relax, I tell myself, you don't even now if the three of them are together. Just focus on getting to your next class. Room 703.

I enter the room right as the warning bell rings. I decide to take a seat next to a nice looking girl. Normally I would have sat with Niall and Louis, but that obviously wasn't gonna happen. Besides, they needed to know that I was mad at them, they had better have a good explanation for why they left me to walk to class alone, and they needed an even better explanation of they were with Mila. They had about one minute to do so because the tardy bell was about to ring.

I sit next to the girl awkwardly. I still wasn't very good at talking to people and making friends. She had wavy blonde hair that was shoulder length and light blue eyes.

"Um, hey, is this seat taken?" I ask her quietly.

"No, you can sit here," she responded.

"I'm Kimberly," I say, sitting down next to her.

"I'm Beverly," she said, extending her hand.

"Well, it's nice to meet you Beverly," I say, shaking her hand with a smile.

See, that wasn't so hard, I tell myself. I've been in the room for less than five minutes and I already have a new friend.

The tardy bell rings and the teacher walks in.

Where are Niall and Louis! Niall's deal with Syco was that he was supposed to be on his best behavior and get good grades. This was not his best behavior.

"Welcome to Trigonometry, I am Mrs. Cybil, and I will be your teacher for this year. Now today is the first day of school, obviously, so u won't have you diving into the textbook just yet. Today we are going to go over attendance and go over the syllabus," said Mrs. Cybil.

They're just late, I assure myself. Niall and Louis are just running late. Of course, they wouldn't be late if they had just stuck with me! Stop it! I tell myself, maybe they just had some guy stuff they had to take of or something. Like what, the subconscious adds, checking out the new girl? Who cares, I have Beverly now, I remind myself.

After about 45 minutes of lecture by Mrs. Cybil, the bell rang. I jump out of my seat and turn to Beverly.

"Well, it was really nice meeting you, maybe we'll see each other again or we can hang out or something," I say.

"Um, ok sure," she responds, and then turns and walks out the door.

Maybe she's just shy, I think to myself. Okay, time to find Niall and Louis. I had never known Niall to skip a class, although the I've only known him for like half a year. Louis on the other hand skips class all the time, so that wasn't surprising. I used to have to force him to come to class with me. I hope Louis's ways weren't rubbing off on Niall.

I walk out of the classroom and look at my schedule to see what class I have next. Anthropology, I have that with Cassidy. What was I gonna tell her? Sorry I lost your boyfriend and he may or may not be with the girl you hate, but don't worry because I lost my boyfriend who may or not be with her too. Um, no, I don't think that will fly with her.

I start to head over to the 500 building where my next class is. I'm about to turn into the main hallway, when I hear something. It's a high pitched laugh, probably coming from a girl, and a thick Irish accent.

No, I think, that accent can not be coming from the Irish person I know.

"Eww, Lou! Don't do that!" screeched the high pitch voice.

Ok, that's it, those voices definitely belonged to Niall and Louis, and I could pretty much guess who the high pitched voice was.

I turn around march into the back hall. Niall and Louis jump up when they see me. I honestly couldn't believe this.

"You cannot be serious," I shout. I start to walk away, but turn around when Niall calls out to me. "So what?" I ask, "all those things you said about me being the only one for you, how you couldn't imagine being with anyone else, what was that?"

"K, please," Niall starts.

"Kim's, stop it was my idea, I-" Louis says.

"Oh, don't think you're out of this," I snap, pointing at him, "Cassidy, ohh boy is she gonna have a fit about this!" I turn and walk back to the main hall.

I could hear Niall calling after me, but that just made me walk even faster. I trusted him! He said I was the only one.

I was glad that I didn't have Anthropology with Niall or Louis. Even if I did, they'd probably skip that class too. What were they doing now, I wonder? Did they stay with Mila? Or did they decide to go to a class?

I hear the tardy bell ring and pick up my speed. I find room 502 and rush in.

"-so don't expect me to be lenient," said the anthropology teacher, she looked up at me. "So nice of you to join us, I'm assuming you are Ms. Kimberly Spade?"

"Yes, I'm so sorry, Ms..?"

"Mrs. Truniez," she responds.

"Yes, Mrs. Truniez, I'm so sorry, I got lost on my way here," I lied.

"Ms. Spade, this is your third year at this school, correct?" she asks.

"Well, um, yes, but I've never had that good of a memory," I reply meekly.

She nods and returns to her speech on the class expectations.

I hurry to the empty seat next to Cassidy.

"Where were you?" whispered Cassidy.

"Boy, do I have a story for you," is all I respond.

I look at her grimly and I know by the worried/angry look I her face, that she could guess what happened.
