It was Saturday morning and you were sitting on the sofa watching your favourite TV series eating a piece of toast, then the doorbell rang. You quickly stuffed the remaining food into your mouth and walked over to answer the door.
There stood Damian, he was wearing a red hoodie, blue faded jeans and converse. It was a very different look to the formal school uniform and when you looked up and caught sight of his dazzling blue eyes you started to blush.
"Good morning (L/N)" he said as you stepped aside to let him in.
"Good morning yourself" you replied. You saw he was carrying a large green backpack on his shoulder, of which looked very full.
"What's in there?" You asked as you nodded towards the bag.
"I'm glad you asked" he smiled as he unzipped the bag and emptied the contents onto the table. There were bags of your favourite flavour crisps, various cans of soft drinks, and microwave popcorn. You looked at all the food in awe.
"I figured it was going to be a long day so I brought refreshments."
"This is amazing!" You said as you opened a packet of crisps. "How did you know this was my favourite flavour?" You asked with a face stuffed with the food.
"I didn't, got lucky I guess"
You flicked through all the DVDs to find what you were looking for. You put Ride Along in the player and pressed play on the remote.
"What have I gotten myself into" Damian complained.
"It's really good, trust me, there are guns and cars" you tried to reassure him.
You were pleased with yourself because during the film you managed to get a few laughs out of Damian.
The end credits filled the screen.
"So you liked it then?" You asked with a huge smile as you looked towards Damian who was sitting right beside you.
"It wasn't half bad, congratulations (L/N)"
You just laughed at him because you knew it meant that he loved it.
It was three and a half hours later and the two of you had finished watching 21 and 22 Jump Street.
"I feel you're prepared to watch Ride Along 2 with me now," you said walking into the kitchen to find sobering healthy to eat because you remembered all you have eaten all day was crisps and popcorn.
"You want anything to eat Damian?" You shouted grabbing some salad from the fridge.
"Just some water will be fine, I'm famished," he said from behind you, which mad you jump as you didn't hear him coming.
"I thought you were still in the living room! Are you sure you weren't secretly brought up by ninjas?" You joked.
"Haha, how did you know?" He laughed.
When you finished eating your salad you and Damian grabbed your stuff and made your way to the cinema.
It took thirty minutes to get to the cinema, you and Damian bought seats that were right at the back so you could get a clear view of the whole screen.
You both decided to share a box of popcorn as you weren't that hungry but popcorn was a tradition that had to be kept. After about 10 minutes of arguing over whether to get sweet or salty, you bought a mix of both and sat in your seats.
"I think the first one was better," Damian said as the film finished.
"Yeah but this one was still good right?"
Mm-hmm he hummed as you started walking out of the cinema.
"Yes! I finally got a positive comment about my films out of you!" You laughed.
"I guess you did"
When you got outside it was pouring down with rain, luckily Damian had an umbrella so you both had to squeeze under the small sheltering, which was very difficult so you gave up and started walking normally again.
Suddenly, Damian grabbed your wrist and pulled you in so you were shoulder to shoulder. You glanced up and gave him a look, he then rolled his eyes at you.
"I'm not letting you die of hypothermia on me"
"Cus you can die from standing in the rain" you chuckled.
He smiled at you, "Just stay close."
And you ended up walking to the bus stop holding hands.
