(Y/S/N) - Your son's name
(Y/D/N) - Your daughter's name
"This is so unfair! How come (Y/D/N) gets to go on patrol with Dad, and I don't?" (Y/S/N) complained to you, as your husband and daughter suited up in their Batman and Robin uniforms. There was no denying that (Y/S/N) was a Wayne, he was the spitting image of his father. He had the jet black hair, emerald eyes, and standing at six foot tall, his height almost matched that Damian.
"You know exactly why," Damian replied, adjusting his utility belt.
"I've already been grounded for a week. Isn't that punishment enough?" The seventeen-year-old tried reasoning. His furrowed brows matched the exact ones that you were sure Damian had underneath the cowl.
"It would have been if you hadn't snuck out to go to that party and gotten yourself arrested for underage drinking." You sternly responded.
"Oh my god! Everyone gets arrested for underage drinking at least once in their lifetime. Can't you just let it go?" With (Y/S/N) inheriting Damian's short temper and your wittiness he could make a convincing argument.
"Let it go? You are complaining that you can't go out to punish those who have broken the law when you have broken it yourself." Damian hissed in full Batman gear. "You're lucky that your mother is so lenient, if it were up to me you would never go out as Redbird again. When I was your ag-"
"I swear to god if you mention one more time what grandad would have made you do when you were my age I will stab myself with a katana."
You gave Damian a look, telling him not to reply. You knew how heated their arguments could get so extinguishing them quickly was vital.
"(Y/S/N), go to your room." You said calmly.
He gave out an exaggerated sigh then stomped out of the Batcave.
You turned your attention to your fifteen-year-old daughter, who had obviously enjoyed watching her older brother getting on the bad side of her parents. She had your nose and (H/C) hair and Damian's jade eyes and olive skin. Her robin uniform kept the traditional colours of red, green and yellow and was very similar to that of Damian's back when he was her age.
"Stay safe okay?" You planted a kiss on her head.
"Of course mum." She said rolling her eyes.
"Get in the Batmobile Robin," Damian demanded and (Y/D/N) tried to hide her excitement as she hurried to the vehicle.
"You need to stop being so hard on (Y/S/N)." You sighed.
"Beloved, I'm being completely fair with (Y/S/N), this time a couple of days ago I was bailing him out of the jail at GCPD. The same jail that we send the criminals that we take down every night."
"Damian, I'm not just talking about tonight." You took his gloved hand and looked at him for a moment. "Sometimes it surprises me how similar the two of you are."
"He's nothing like me. He has no respect for his superiors and can't even follow simple instructions."
"You're right. You were nothing like that when you were seventeen." You said with sarcasm lacing your voice.
"I should go," he said, changing the subject.
"Look after (Y/D/N). No supervillains, just a couple of street thugs then bring her straight back."
"Of course I'll keep her safe." He said giving you a kiss.
"Stop it with the PDA! Let's go already!" (Y/D/N) shouted from the car.
