Damian's POV

I entered the classroom and sat down at my desk at my usual spot next to Wilkes.

"So, how was your weekend?" How could that guy be so cheerful at 9 o'clock on a Monday morning?

"Fine."

"What did you do? Anything fun?"

"Nothing." All these questions were really starting to irritate me.

"Do you want to know what I did?"

"Not particularly. But I know you're going to inform me anyway."

"Yep! I got past that part on that video game that you couldn't do. I am now officially better than you at something!"

"Congratulations," I said sarcastically.

"You're just jealous, it's ok to be envious of my awesomeness."

"Don't flatter yourself, Wilkes, I could still kick your ass at anything else. Plus I haven't played that game in years, it's childish."

"You're childish, you won't even admit your jealousy." I heard him mumble under his breath.

I just rolled my eyes and looked in the other direction, where I caught sight of (Y/B/F Last Name) walking towards me.

"Hey Damian, hey Colin," she smiled and waved. Wilkes' face flushed red, he told me that he had a 'small' crush on her. "Have you seen or heard from (Y/N) lately she's not been answering any of my texts this morning and she normally arrives at school before me."

"She came back to mine last night and she wasn't there when I woke up." Before I said any more I was getting some very weird looks from (B/F/L/N)  and Wilkes.

"So you were together last night?" Wilkes smirked at me.

"Very together, maybe that's why she couldn't come in today. Probably too exhausted from all that activity..." (B/F/L/N) added. And they both burst out with laughter. It took me a while to figure out what humoured them so much, I was just about to speak but at that very moment the teacher walked in and immediately called us out.

"Damian, Colin, (B/F/N)! Is there anything you'd like to share with the class?" (Teacher Name) gave us all a death glare. Wilkes and (B/F/L/N) had to cover their mouths to stop them from laughing even more but the snickering from under their breathes was still clearly audible.

"No Miss/Sir." I was the only one able to speak at this point and (B/F/L/N) quickly went back to her desk, still making faces towards me and giggling with Wilkes. I ignored them while (Teacher Name) registered us and decided I should text (Y/N), it was starting to worry me that she hadn't arrived at school yet; if she wasn't here by now it meant she probably wouldn't be coming in at all today. Just as I hit send the bell rang, I snapped out of my train of thought and figured I was worrying myself too much. I just can't help it sometimes, ever since she entered my life I have brought danger to her. I'm overthinking things now, she probably just felt sick and is now safely asleep in her bed comfortably. I packed my rucksack with my books for the next few lessons and went to class with Wilkes and (B/F/L/N), explaining to them what really happened last night.

The last bell of the day has just rung and I checked my phone for the 27th time today, still no reply from (Y/N). (B/F/L/N) had convinced me that nothing bad had happened and that she was probably just sick so I stopped worrying about her and just hoped that she was feeling alright, and started worrying about all the homework assignments I had due for tomorrow. Not that I found them difficult, I learned how to do everything this school is trying to teach me when I was 6 years old, I just find it time-consuming.

Wednesday had come around and school had just finished. (Y/N) hadn't been in school for officially 3 days and no one had heard from her since Sunday, I was the last person to see her that night. I couldn't help but worry at this point so I drove to her house after school.

I rang the doorbell and soon after her mother replied, "Hello Damian! Lovely to see you again, how are you?"

"I'm very well thank you Mrs (M/L/N), I'm here to see (Y/N)."

"Oh, I'm sorry I haven't seen her in a few days. She had a pretty big argument with her brother/sister and I figured she was staying with either you or (B/F/N)."

I tried to keep a calm expression on my face while inside I was freaking out in every way possible. (Y/N) hasn't been home for 3 days?! Ok, something bad has definitely happened here but I can't let her parents worry until I know what is going on.

"Oh yes, you're right she mentioned she was staying with (B/F/N). I'm sure she'll return soon I was just going to drop off some of her books. Do you mind if I just leave them in her room?"

"Of course not, how helpful of you!"

I quickly made my way up the stairs to (Y/N)'s bedroom. It looked completely normal, I don't know what I was expecting to see maybe some sort of sign of kidnapping or something, some sort of clue as to what happened to her, but there was nothing. I sighed as I walked over to her desk to put down her books. On her desk I caught sight of a photo frame standing on the left-hand corner, in the frame was the photo of us just before we left for Hawaii, seeing that picture and remembering that moment made me smile. It felt like a lifetime ago when in reality it was only a few months ago.

"I will find you beloved," I whispered and left the room, with thousands of different thoughts and emotions rushing through me.
