A couple weeks earlier

I walked out of the house in my black combat boots a pair of grey skinny jeans paired off with a white fitted singlet and my black leather jacket and finger-less gloves. I hopped on my motorcycle, adjusting my grey beanie and head to school. I was tired of being home all the time and the house was tired of me. I left a note on the counter in the kitchen telling my grandma's nurse where she could find me if she needed something.

Not that she would ever call me if she did. The lady had too much pride and said that I worried about my gram too much. But come on who wouldn't want to take care of your grandmother who had bipolar and suffered from agyrophobia (fear of crossing the road). I swear she was so weird but so damn stubborn too. She would always sneak out of the house and go to weird places and have a panic attack and call me to pick her up. Hopefully granddad and the boys will be back before she decides to leave. If I weren't there she would get past Clarice but if Grandpa and the boys were there she behaved.

There were times when she was a normal grandparent but sometimes she got so weird it was unbearable.

I finally approached the great brown and cream building of Swans Lake High. I parked in the teacher's parking lot and head into the school purposely trekking through the freshly mowed lawn instead of on the stone walkway. When I slam open the front doors the chatter turns into whispers and everyone moves to either side of the halls. I hadn't been at this dump for a few months now and everyone had probably thought I was dead. I ignore the whispering and walk to the mess hall. It was packed with students eating lunch at different sections.

There was the Cheer squad and the Jocks,

The Visual and performing arts students,

The AP students,

The Geeks and the Goths who tended to mingle

Then there was me with the few idiots who hang with me for popularity.

Yeah it was lunch time and i was just arriving at school, not like anyone would tell me anything about it to my face at least.

I actually had only two friends one of which had an unfortunate accident some time ago. I walked to the front of the line and the lady hands me what I always order, I take my tray from her handing her a twenty before wading my way to a currently unoccupied table.

"Move it or lose it," a voice growls out from behind me. I ignored the rude bastard that decides to disturb me. Its my first day back to this hell hole and this is the greeting I get?

"Your in my seat kid,"

"I don't see your name here," I decide to answer continuing to eat my food. I let his hand lay on my shoulder and keep my body stiff.

"You shouldn't test me," he growls hoping to intimidate me.

"You shouldn't touch me," I grit my teeth holding back my usual reaction. I was in a teasing mood and he was wearing on my patience.

His hand tightens on my shoulder, I take a sip in my milk and swing around and face Gabriel.

"Gabby, what was the first rule given when you decided to attempt to befriend me?" I ground out now looking at him as I bend back his  wrist.

"Shit! Lia I- ah- I didn't know it was you Ah!" his face is red as he tries to hold back his screams of pain. Gabriel had the whole bad boy look but he was a bitch for pain, couldn't deal with it at all. Some Alpha he is.

"Thought you were – ah- dead! Rumors said you got involved in a drug deal and they killed you cause you got them busted," he held his hand to his chest shifting uneasily in front of me. It was only then that I had notices Steve and Jason flanking him. I raise and eyebrow at them.
