College classes are hard.
I never studied in high school. Maybe six to seven times but never more than I can count on my own ten fingers.
"Need some help?" I heard a familiar voice.
I had my nose stuck in a book during lunch break.
I didn't need food, I needed understanding of all this gibber gobbler.
I looked up slowly to see Louis smiling down at me.
I shook my head and went back into reading over paragraphs I has just read at least twenty five times already.
"You're not going to eat?" Louis asked.
He wasn't giving up was he?
He probably wants me to fail.
I sigh heavily and look up once more.
"Louis I don't want to be rude and I'm not trying to be rude but I really need to study this. I have a quiz tomorrow morning and none of this makes sense to me. Believe it or not Google itself can't even put it into simpler terms for me."
Louis made a confused face.
"You googled this stuff for simpler terms?" Louis asked.
"Yes. Apparently this is as simple as it gets." I said pointing at the book.
Louis nodded.
"Will you make a deal with me?" Louis asked.
I made a confusion face.
"A deal?" I asked.
"Oh come on, I know you know what a deal is." Louis stated.
Laura nodded.
"Have lunch with me and I'll help you as soon as we get back to the dorm tonight and early in the morning before that class starts for you." Louis didn't know what he was getting his self into.
This book was full of magic spells, Laura was sure of it.
Maybe she wasn't saying them right but at least that's what the words in the book seem like.
Magic, words that can only be pronounced and understood by a special wizard.
Laura looked from her book to Louis.
"Lunch where?" Laura asked.
"I was thinking any place with food." Louis was being sarcastic.
Laura laughed and closed her book.
It was a done deal.
"Well no seriously, I don't know any place. Not a place that girls like anyways." Louis laughed nervously.
"How about a Taco Bell? I love tacos." Laura asked.
"Alright. I like tacos too so that's an option." Louis said picking up Laura's book off the bench as they walked to his car near by.
Once in the car Laura started messing with the radio.
She stopped.
"Do you mind if I mess with the radio? I really like pop music." Laura asked.
"Sure. I'm not a freak anoutnpepple messing with my radio. I like hearing new music." Louis shrugged his shoulders driving down the highway.
"Well I am. Sometimes." Laura admitted.
"Honesty is the key to everything." Louis quickly glanced at her.
Laura had became more comfortable around Louis lately.
