Tyonnia and Laura lived literally down the street from one another.

Laura was at home getting dressed for the day. She looked at her bed. It felt so good to sleep in a bed she knew all to well. A room she knew all to well.

She sighed and went downstairs.

"Hey dad." She said walking into the kitchen.

"Hey big head." Her dad smiled getting up to give her a hug and a bear hug.

"It's been to long." Laura said hugging him back even though she could barley breathe.

"Way to long." Her dad corrected her.

"I never got a hug like that before. Ever, in my life." Laura brother walked into the kitchen wearing basketball shorts and a T-shirt.

"Maybe you never deserved one." Laura laughed letting go of her dad.

"Whatever." Laura brother said pouring himself some orange juice.

"You two and your mother make my life complete." Laura dad chuckled.

There was a knock on the front door.

No one moved in the kitchen.

There was a knock on the door again.

"Gosh dang! I'll get it!" Laura brother said rolling his eyes and leaving the kitchen.

Once he was out of ear shot, Laura and her dad busted into laughter.

"Laura! Tyonnia wants you!" Laura brother called from the front door.

"Tell her to come in!" Laura yelled back.

"No Laura! Come here!" Tyonnia said stepping in a little.

Laura looked at her dad. "See you later?"

"Yeah. Family dinner tonight." Her dad  said giving her a kiss on the forehead.

"Love you dad." Laura said.

"Love you too big head." He chuckled as Laura left the kitchen.

"How's Mandy and James?" Tyonnia asked Laura as she came to the front door.

"They're fine." Laura smiled.

Tyonnia looked past Laura and at her brother, Caleb who was still standing at the door.

"Thanks for getting Laura for me." Tyonnia smiled pulling Laura down the stairs, out into the open.

Once they were far away were she was sure no one would hear them, she stopped.

"Laura Louis and Chance are here." She stated.

"Why are you lying?" Laura asked.

"Why do I have to lie for?" Tyonnia asked.

"They could never possibly know where he live."  Laura stated.

"Louis turned on Find My Iphone, from your phone and it's not that hard to find someones address theses days." Tyonnia pointed out.

"Why did they come and where are they?" Laura asked.

"Your first, they said they missed us.  They're staying at The Ballantyne hotel." Tyonnia rolled her eyes.

"I can't believe they came." Laura said fascinated.

"Same." Tyonnia said taking a seat on the curb.

"Are we going to see them?" Laura asked.

"Don't you think we should? I mean if we don't they'll just come here. I don't think I'm ready to tell anyone about Chance around here." Tyonnia sighed.
