Justin's POV:

Raeleigh and I had finished off our night long ago with some basic Mac and cheese for dinner and a screening of my favorite movie, 21 Jump Street in the theater. Raeleigh looked amazing, even in my hand-me-downs. I couldn't keep my eyes off of her; I loved her bright smile and deep blue eyes that contrasted with her messy black hair. My v-neck had been a little big on her and would slip off her shoulder every once and a while we were eating dinner and I couldn't help but admire her from a far. We had laughed a lot and I loved hanging out with her which was nice considering I can't form relationships with normal everyday people often.

At the moment, I was waking up from a fairly sound sleep considering I had slept on the couch in my theater. Raeleigh and I had begun the night on separate ends of the couch simply sharing a blanket, however we had shifted closer throughout the movie and Raeleigh had fallen asleep near the very end. She had told me earlier that her parents wouldn't be home all night so I hadn't bothered waking her.

I started to turn onto my right side when I felt a heavy weight on my abdomen. I stopped moving and pushed my self onto my elbows tilting my head downward at my stomach. Looking just as adorable as she had when she fell asleep, Raeleigh's head was rested on my abs and she was still sound asleep. Her left arm was slung across my waist and her right arm was tucked under her pressed up against me. Some might say that our tangled bodies were snuggling or maybe even spooning but it definitely wasn't intentional. Not that I wouldn't want it to be.

I laid my head back down, careful not to wake the sleeping beauty. I stared at the ceiling and listened to our breathing, her breaths were soft and far apart, where as mine were loud and labored as if I had just run a couple of miles. It was a wonder that she had remained asleep considering the breaths filling and emptying my lungs at a lightening fast pace. My heart was beating itself against my rib cage and my mind was running wild.

Raeleigh and I had in fact been spending a lot of time together but I felt as if we were both on the same page regarding our relationship. The bottom line was that we were friends, and our friendship was growing everyday. However, there was that element of attraction there too. I no doubt felt attracted to her often and it wasn't hard to see that she felt the same. As far as progression past the friendship zone went I wasn't so sure. There were several little details holding me back.

As if in sync with my thoughts, my phone beeped shortly there after. For some reason it had been at full volume and the incoming text had caused Raeleigh to stir. Her arm around my waist tightened grip and she snuggled in closer to my side, her head still on my belly.

As carefully as I could manage, I lifted my left arm and reached towards the coffee table where my phone sat. Slightly out of my reached, I used my finger tips to ease the phone over the edge of the table and into my hand. Catching it softly, I brought it up to my face to read the text displayed on the screen. It was from Alfredo.

Fredo: you up?

I replied quickly, hoping he would be able to entertain me until Raeleigh woke.

Justin: yea. What's up?

Fredo: you ready for the meeting with you know who today? Management is going to be really cracking down on you guys.

Justin: yea I know. I'm not so sure about this anymore.

I eyed Raeleigh and impulsively played with some of her messy hair.

Fredo: you want to stay on top right?

Justin: yea of course, I just don't think this is necessary to keep me there. I have my fans I have my music, I think I will be ok.

On that note, I switched over to twitter and began to tweet my beliebers.

@justinbieber: good morning (;

@justinbieber: meetings today. Working on some good stuff for u guys. #newmusic.

I wanted my fans to know I was working, but not necessarily what I was working on. New music wasn't my first priority at the meetings today, but I definitely wanted to get some new singles out.

I thumbed through my mentions and indirects and retweeted and followed some fans. That was my favorite part of the job, making my fans happy. Alfredo brought me back to my hard reality.

Fredo: in the end this is what management thinks is best for you so you might as well just go with it :/

Mad that he was right but I didn't want to agree with him, I locked my phone and threw it back on the coffee table not bothering to respond. I grabbed the tv remote and flipped on the tv for an alternative form of entertainment. I changed the channel to MTV and waited for the commercials to end. I looked at my sleeping neighbor and thought about how she might react when she woke and found herself basically on top of me.

I saw her phone on the opposite side of the couch sitting on the arm rest. Right on cue, it started to blast Bruno Mars' Treasure which I assumed was her ringtone. It was completely out of my reach so I couldn't see who was calling but it was on full volume and didn't seem to quieting down any time soon. Raeleigh's eyes lids started to flutter and her arm slid off my waist. Suddenly, her head shot up and she crawled across the couch as quickly as she could, grabbing her phone and bringing it up to her ear.

"Hello?" She said into the receiver, out of breath. "Dad? Yeah I'm fine." She pushed some of her hair behind her ear. "Yeah I'm on my way home. Okay. Bye." She brought the phone back down and pushed the end button. "Shit." She said, scrolling through her texts and shaking her head.

I pushed myself up and sat back against the couch watching her. Noticing my movement, she looked up from her phone and over at me. "Oh sorry, I completely forgot you were here." She let out a meager laugh. "I didn't realize I fell asleep and my dad is home and noticed that I'm not." She stood up from the couch and started looking around the room, avoiding my eyes. She must've been searching for some of her stuff because she bent down and looked under the coffee table and behind the couch.

"Did you lose something?" I finally spoke up.

She stopped in her tracks "uh no it's fine, I should probably head home before I get in more trouble." She looked into my eyes and smiled, I understood it was nothing personal.

I hopped off the couch and started towards where she was standing "okay I can walk you out."

She turned and headed out the door and up the stairs to the main floor. Once we reached the foyer she stopped and turned to me, balling up her hands and looking down at them. "Thanks for having me over, your pretty much the only person I know here so I'm glad that we can hang out."

"Yeah me too." Was all I could think to say. She looked up now, and for some reason, even being the confident, sometimes cocky guy I was, when I was around her, it was hard to form words. Maybe it was just that we didn't really know each other that well or maybe it was something else, right now I didn't really care.

I opened the front door for her, said goodbye, and watched her hurry down the front stairs to her house. I stood with the door wide open long after she was gone, lost in thought. Between us, nothing had happened, but I felt as if there was a weirdly strong feeling of attraction that we were both feeling. What I knew was that if I didn't eliminate that feeling now, I would have to act on it. What I didn't know was which option I was going to choose.
