Ugh this movie was so boring.
We had made it safely to the theater and snuck in the back door once the movie had already started so that no one noticed Justin. However, the boys had chosen what movie we were to see and no surprise, it was a high action film, that did have a somewhat good plot, but considering my current situation, I wasn't really focusing on the movie. I was sandwiched between Alredo and Ryan, with Justin to Ryan's left. The movie was in 3D so luckily, none of the guys could see me shooting occasional flirty glances in Justin's way, except of course Justin.
I couldn't wait to get back to his car so we could mess around a little more, but we had to get out of the theater safely first and Justin had already prepped me on that game plan.
The first step in exiting the theater as quickly as possible was to leave our seats right when the end credits rolled, we had to book it down the stairs to try and avoid being seen once the lights come one. Next, we have to exit straight out the door next to the big screen, and from there we have to move as fast as possible to his car, to avoid any and all paparazzi who might have somehow located Justin.

About a half an hour later, Justin reached over and placed his hand lightly on my leg, making sure to keep it friendly in front of the other boys.
"Rae, the credits are about to roll, get ready." I nodded, letting him know I was ready to get out of there as fast as he needed me to.
The scene ended quickly and the lights came on sooner than we expected.
"Shit!" Justin whispered, jumping out of his seat and heading down the steps, Ryan on his heels.
Shocked by how fast everything had happened, I slowly stood from my seat and turn towards Fredo.
"Go!" He exclaimed, lightly pushing me forward and guiding me down the steps towards the exit. Ryan and Justin were already outside by the time we made it towards the door, and I flung it open and charged head first into the blinding sunlight. I ran straight into Justin's back and slowly looked up, trying to adjust my eyes to the brightness. However, I soon realized that the Sun wasn't the only light cast upon us, but also the flashes of about 20 different cameras being shoved in our faces.
"How did they find us?!" Justin screamed over the loud voices. Both Ryan and Fredo looked back at him equally confused.
"We'll figure that out later," Fredo rationalized with Justin, "for now we just need to get out of here!"
I leaned into Justin instinctively and he grabbed me hand, making me feel safe.
"Don't look into the cameras, cover your face." He whispered in my ear, his head cast downward, the bill of his hat blocking some of the cameras from me as he leaned over. Alfredo stepped in front of Justin and began to inch forward with his arms extended outward, telling the paps to move out of the way. We began to pick up speed and eventually broke though the circle, Justin yelled something to Alfredo and Ryan about seeing them later and yanked on my hand, pulling me towards the car. He unlocked the car and opened my door, almost shoving me inside, slamming the door and quickly running over to the driver's side of the car. He turned the car on and gunned it out of the parking lot, pulling onto the freeway at over 80 mph, trying to loose the paps who were sure to follow us.
"Fuck! Shit, shit, shit," Justin slammed his fist onto the steering wheel, "be ready to see this all over tmz tomorrow cause that's exactly where those fucking pictures are going. I can't get away from it for even a single second."
"I'm sorry." I brought my hands up to my mouth and began to chew on my nails. He glanced over at me and let out a deep breath. He pulled his foot off the gas and slowed down to only 10 over the speed limit.
"Don't be sorry, it's not your fault." He reached over and pulled my hand from my mouth, squeezing it tightly in his. "I had fun with you today and that's all that matters, I'm always in the media, it's nothing new. Being with you however," he inhaled sharply, "that's a brand new adventure." He was such a hopeless romantic, but I loved it.
He pulled onto one of the hilly back roads that lead up to our subdivision and began to maneuver the quick turns like a pro. I admired the bright city lights below us and thought back to when I lived in New York and how much had changed since then. I thought about how much I didn't want to come here but now I never wanted to leave. I had fallen hard and fast for the new life I was living, and especially for the new guy by my side. I didn't really know what me and Justin had - whether it was a relationship or just a fling - either way I was loving every moment of it.
"I want to show you somewhere special," Justin said as he pulled off onto a shaded gravel path, "I come here to think and just be by myself, I don't get to do that a lot. Plus nobody knows about this place except me... And now you." We pulled into a clearing surrounded by trees and Justin parked and turned off the car. I got out and met him at the front of the car where he grabbed my hand and lead me up a small hill. When we reached the top he walked us over to the edge of the hill which looked over downtown Los Angeles. It was incredibly beautiful and completely took my breath away, I felt like a giant looking over all the lights and small ant-like people. Seeing this made the last few month of my life feel like a dream; like I wasn't here in this moment, looking over one of the most lively cities in the country which I now called home. I didn't feel like I was the daughter of a successful business man, or that I had everything I could possibly want in the world, I felt small in comparison to the world I lived in, but giant in my own state of mind.
"Now this is something special we shared together," Justin said, breaking the silence, "I trust you with this, no matter what happens." I looked over at him and watched him admire the city. There was a small smile on his face but it was genuine, he seemed happy. The lights cast a warm glow on his face and his hazel eyes sparkled. It all seemed so surreal, something too beautiful to exist anywhere except for in a dream, something I had felt like I was living in ever since I had met a Justin.
"Thank you." I whispered, turning back towards the city scape.
"Don't thank me," he said, "this is just a little piece of me that I feel like you should have after everything you've done for me."
"But I haven't done anything for you." I said honestly.
Hearing that, Justin laughed lightly. "You've made me feel normal, and happy. You're something really special to me and I'm glad you came into my life."
In that moment I felt so full, so complete and satisfied. My eyes watered without warning from all the joy racing through me. This moment was something straight out of a cheesy chick flick but it was so much more than that. It was the life of two lost teenagers coming together, not just romantically, but in a complete mental and emotional state. Where we felt as one, two puzzle pieces coming together and being exactly where they belong; with each other.
I grabbed Justin and wrapped my arms around him, holding tightly to him, never wanting to let him go. "Thank you for everything." I whispered to him.
"Don't cry," he said in response to my wet eyes, pulling me back so that we were eye to eye, "your special Raeleigh, and you've done so much for me just by coming into my life. No matter what happens I always want you to be there. Please just promise me that." He held his gaze, looking deeply into my eyes.
I began to laugh, so many emotions flowing freely through me, "I promise Justin. All you have to do is walk a couple feet over to my house and I will be there."
His face broke into a smile and he pulled my face closer to his, leaning in and placing his lips softly on mine. "I'm going to hold you to that." He whispered quietly before placing his lips back on mine.
We kissed underneath the stars but above the city lights, in our own little world, our personal heaven, where it was just us and infinite promises that were never broken.
