With my heart racing, I met his warm hand and shook. Tingles moved up my arm and made me

shiver. "Its nice to meet you." I practically whispered, His hazel eyes held mine and his mouth

curled at the ends as he whispered back, "the pleasure is all mine." He squeezed my hand before

letting it fall and winked at me discretely before my dad pulled him away to meet my mother.

Wearing red Vans, dark wash jeans sitting low, showing the top of his Calvin Kliene boxer briefs,

and a plaid shirt over a white v-neck, with his caramel hair perfectly quiffed, he looked better than

ever, and better in person than any photo I had ever seen of him. My father led him into the sea

of people, but dazed and completely unable to move, I stood still and followed his every move with

my eyes. To my delight, even when conversing with guests, his gaze made its way back in my

direction and met me with a mischievous smile. Snap out of it, I thought to myself. The only

reason he was paying any attention to me was because I couldn't stop staring at him. I was

nothing and I meant nothing to him, I was just someones daughter. I turned away and made my

way back outside. I walked under the veranda onto the grass and looked around. I saw several

other celebrities such as Ariana Grande and Carly Rae Jepsen, both of whom I was previously

introduced to earlier. Still in the daze and not really in the mood to socialize, I made my way

across the yard hoping I would find something interesting to explore, considering I had only

moved in yesterday and didn't really know my way around my new home. I followed a path

around the pool under some tall oaks, into a circular courtyard with 7 foot tall bushes on all sides

completely secluding me from the rest of the party. There was a grand fountain in the middle and

benches on either side of the fountain. I sat on the nearest bench with my back to the entry of the

courtyard. I dipped my hand into the water and moved it back and forth absentmindedly created

ripples in the water. My thoughts wandered back to my earlier encounter and I wondered if

Justin's reaction meant anything. I knew he was notorious for being a flirt, but I felt something

that was completely foreign to me when I met him. I felt connected to him when our hands met, it

just felt special. I hoped I wasn't the only one who noticed. Then again no multi-million dollar

celebrity would ever be interested in an ordinary girl like me, it wasn't possible. He probably has

thousands of girls lined up at his door and he can have any one of them; it was just a silly feeling.

I shook the water off my hand, rotated back towards the courtyard entry and stood to leave, I

couldn't hide here all night. Looking at my down at my feet on the cracked courtyard pavement, I

moved towards the exit. I picked up my pace and lifted my head just in time to see Justin

standing there looking at me. I reacted much too late, moving too quickly to stop myself before I

slammed straight into his chest.
