Above is the alley and the stranger

Cullen's P.O.V.

××Flashback××
"Come on Cullen!" I watched as Alice rounded the corner into the park. The moonlight shone on her dark hair. I chuckled and followed her into the darkness of the park. She was standing on a swing with a large grin plastered on her face. We had snuck out of the orphanage again and she seemed to be shaking with the excitement of it. I grabbed the chains and looked up at her. I began to push her and she began to laugh, a beautiful tinkling of bells. She let go of the chains and let herself fall off the swing. I caught her and spun her in a large circle through the mulch. Her eyes sparkled in the moonlight and I set her down on a bench so she could catch her breath.
" I can't breathe!," She said in between fits of laughter, "that was so much fun!" I smiled and sat beside her. We began talking about everything. Music, Animals, Colors, Weird words, Books, Movies, Crushes, Dreams, and Food. I felt the hair on the back of my neck begin to stand up. Someone was watching us... I looked around cautiously but was unable to see anyone.
"Let's go." I grabbed Alice's arm and began pulling her toward the park entrance.
"What's wrong?" Alice didn't feel what I was feeling. I just knew that we had to get out of here. I looked behind us and thought I saw a man standing beside the bench we were just sitting on. I pulled Alice into the alley next to the orphanage and out of the stranger's eyesight. I sighed and began walking toward the orphanage when Alice suddenly screamed. Her scream was cut off quickly and I turned around to see the man with blood dripping from his chin. There was blood on Alice's neck and I growled. Reaching for a crowbar on the ground I began walking toward him.
"Let her go you bastard!" He grinned and dropped Alice. I ran at him and he threw me against the wall. My head began to spin and I watched helplessly as he walked over to Alice. He bent down and bit into his wrist. He brought it to his mouth and sucked some of the blood into his mouth. He leaned forward and pressed his lips against Alice's. I tried to stand as he kissed her and I noticed blood dripping from the side of her mouth. He noticed me trying to stand and laughed. Walking up to me he lowered himself to my level. I lifted the crowbar and tried to swing but he took it and threw it behind him. He lowered his mouth to my neck and opened his mouth, ready to bite. Squeezing my eyes shut, I waited for the pain. The man shrieked and my eyes shot open to see Alice had smacked the man with the crowbar. He glared at her while clutching his right eye. With a shake of his head and a growl, he ran off down the alley and around the corner. Alice fell into my arms and I forced myself to stand while holding her. I made my way slowly to the orphanage entrance and threw myself against the door. Darkness began to cloud my vision as Ms. Maria opened the door.
"Darren! Call for the ambulance!" Blackness finally overtook me.
