"Oh, sorry. My bad!" Mia said picking up the human and putting her over her shoulder.

"Gently Mia! Gently! That is the next queen you are holding!" Maura called after her. "And let me know when she wakes up!"

"Uuugh." Mae moaned as she woke up. She rolled over knowing that she'd roll off the couch.

Only she didn't.

Her eyes snapped open as memories flooded through her mind. She shot up into sitting position and her hand flew to her neck.

"Oh, god no." She thought as her fingers traced over the two tiny puncture marks. "What happ-"

"Oh, thank goodness you're finally awake!" Someone squealed, interrupting Mae's thoughts. "I thought you would never wake up!"

Mae turned and saw that the voice had come from a girl, maybe 15, with large curious blue eyes and short brown hair.

Mae had so many questions running through her mind.

What happened?

Where was she?

Where was Niall?

But she started out with this one instead.

"Who are you?"

"I am Mia," she said as if she were some all powerful being. "Long time friend of the Horan family since 1947 A.D and personal attendant, companion, and messenger to- Oh and that reminds me!" Mia said interrupting herself. She ran vampire speed out of the room, then back in and as if she were speaking to a child said, "Don't move. I will be right back." Then she ran back out of the room.

In quite literally almost no time at all Mia returned, bringing back with her another woman who, although she wasn't dressed particularly regally, radiated importance.

"The woman herself, Maura Gallagher!" Mia announced dramatically.

Mae blinked. "Who?" She asked.

Mia's jaw dropped and she gasped dramatically. She opened her mouth to say something but Maura was quick to stop her.

"Mia, she is a human, remember. She has no idea who I am, or what I am, for that matter."

Mia took a deep breathe as if she was going to go on and speak a rather fast, rather long and over dramatic monologue in one breathe again but Maura stopped her before she could begin.

"Mia don't bother. The girl is finally awake and with all the stress of the revolution upon his head, the news must be brought to the King immediately and I want you to bring it to him."

Mia gasped again, very dramatically. Again.

"REALLY?"

"Yes," Maura said calmly.

"I GET TO TELL HIM?"

"Yes."

"REALLY?"

"Yes."

"YOU WANT ME TO TELL HIM?"

"Go, Mia."

"REALLY?"

"Mia . . ." Maura sighed.

"I GET TO DO IT?"

"Mia, the clock is ticking."

"YOU WANT ME, MEEEEE TO DELIVER THE MESSAGE TO THE KING PERSONALLY?"

"If you can do it fast enough." Maura teased.
