Selena was stunned when she saw the man who had ruined her relationship with Eugenia. It brought back painful memories of when they were just getting to know each other.
Their bond was just growing. The breakup had left a lasting impact on both of them.

"What are you doing here?" Selena asked, her voice filled with anger and confusion.
"I heard you were out of the hospital," He replied casually.
"Yes, I am," Selena responded bitterly.
"I always knew you couldn't control yourself," He sneered, causing her to roll her eyes in annoyance.
"You should leave now," Eugenia warned firmly.
"Why don't you make me leave?" He challenged, his arrogance evident.
Selena stood face to face with him, her presence strong and commanding. As he tensed up, his smirk faded, realizing the seriousness of the situation.
"That's what I thought," She said, a victorious smirk on her lips.
In that moment, Eugenia embraced Selena from behind, a loving smile on her face. They shared a tender moment of connection.
As he walked out of the apartment, Selena glanced over her shoulder, watching him leave. Eugenia leaned into her embrace, finding comfort in their love and strength.
Selena playfully spun Eugenia around, lifting her up and wrapping her legs around her waist. They shared a joyful moment, their smiles reflecting the happiness they found in each other's arms.
Eventually, Selena gently placed Eugenia back down on the bed and closed the door. Eugenia sat up, looking at Selena with concern and love.
"I have to go perform in New York," Selena said, taking a seat on the bed.
"When?" Eugenia asked, her worry evident.
"In two days, for Saturday Night Live," Selena replied.
"Selena, you need to rest," Eugenia said, concern etched on her face.
"I can't bail on the performance last minute," Selena countered.
"Please think about it," Eugenia pleaded.
"I will," Selena promised.
"I'm so glad you're feeling better," Eugenia said, smiling softly.
"I'm happiest when I'm with you, my beautiful wife," Selena said, gazing into Eugenia's brown eyes.
"You always know how to make me feel special." She said.
"That's why I married you, babe," Eugenia said, leaning in for a kiss.
"I'm sorry for wanting a divorce," Selena whispered.
"You had every right to feel that way," Eugenia reassured her.
"I felt terrible for even considering it," Selena admitted.
"It's all good." Eugenia said.
"I caused trouble this time, not you." Selena said.
"Can I ask you something?" Eugenia said, her voice trembling.
"Of course," Selena replied, taking her hand.
"Why did you cheat on me?" Eugenia asked, tears welling up in her eyes.
"Let's go out tonight," Selena said, trying to change the subject.
"No, I need to know," Eugenia insisted.
"I promise I'll tell you later," Selena said, placing a hand on her cheek.
