Eugenia had a clear idea of what she wanted to say. Selena seemed unsure of her own thoughts as she opened her mouth.

"Go ahead," Eugenia said, giving Selena permission to speak.

"Wait, you're okay with it?" Selena asked, surprised.

"You're going to do whatever you want behind my back, so it doesn't really matter what I think," Eugenia replied, her tone tinged with resignation.

"Okay, yeah," Selena responded, still taken aback.

"I'm just curious why you're talking to him again," Eugenia questioned.

"He's just a friend, but I didn't want you to get upset about it. That's why I didn't tell you we were talking again," Selena explained simply.

"I really don't want to argue about this," Eugenia stated matter-of-factly.

"I know, baby," Selena reassured her.

A weak smile passed between them. Selena leaned in to give Eugenia a quick kiss before grabbing her jacket and left the house.

Selena made her way towards the car. With a graceful motion, slid into the driver's seat and firmly closed the door, ready to ignite the engine and hit the road.

Meanwhile, Eugenia trailed closely behind in her own vehicle. Selena gracefully stepped out of the car, her presence commanded attention, radiating confidence and determination.

Selena sat comfortably in the car. With anticipation bubbling inside her, she watched as the person she had been waiting for walked confidently into the building, making a beeline for the hockey rink.

As the game unfolded, Selena couldn't help but cheer him on, her excitement radiating through her smile. The final moments of the match approached, and she felt her heart race with every passing second.

When the game finally came to an end, Selena rose from her seat, her eyes never leaving him. Making his way towards her, he approached the bench and smiled widely.

Together, they slipped out through the discreet back entrance, their connection palpable. He took the driver's seat, his hands confidently gripping the steering wheel as he navigated the roads, driving her safely home.

Inside the car, laughter filled the air as Selena covered her face playfully, her fiancé following closely behind. With a graceful stride, they drove to her house.
