Selena was enjoying a night out with her supportive friends who have been instrumental in her career. As she ran her fingers through her hair, she took in the lively atmosphere of the club.

Suddenly, found herself rapping along to a Kanye West song with her friend Courtney. To her delight, another friend was capturing the moment on his phone.

After finishing the song, Selena couldn't help but smile, especially when she thought about her girlfriend Eugenia. However, hadn't yet shared the news of the deal she made with her team two days ago.

She wanted to avoid any potential arguments, like the one they had after her divorce, and instead have a calm conversation. As she took a sip of her drink and placed it back on the counter, Selena let out a breath she didn't realize she was holding.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a friend who wanted to take a picture with her. Although she wasn't in the mood, Selena faked a smile as the phone flashed in front of her.

Taking a deep breath, Selena watched as he displayed his talents. A small smile played across her face as she nodded in approval.

Glancing around the room, she tightened her grip on her cap, savoring the company of those around her. Her friend noticed her unease.

"What's the matter?" Her friend asked.

"It's nothing." She replied.

Feeling the weight of her thoughts, Selena excused herself to the bathroom. Leaning back against the closed door, she couldn't help but dwell on her relationship with Eugenia.

Shaking her head, she placed her hands on the sink in front of her, running her fingers through her long hair. Gazing at her reflection in the mirror, she smiled softly, making a few adjustments to her appearance.

Exhaling deeply, Selena nodded to herself and walked out of the bathroom, only to find that the atmosphere hadn't changed since she left. Retrieving her cell phone, she scrolled through her messages, replying to her cousin about some wedding plans.

As she looked up from the screen, heard a familiar voice and saw her friend Simi approaching. Embracing each other tightly, they exchanged smiles.

"Hey, where's your girlfriend tonight?" Simi asked.

"Wait a sec, you got back with your ex-wife Eugenia?!" Theresa said.

"Oh yeah, I did." Selena replied glaring at Simi who flinched.

"When did that happen?" Theresa asked.

"It's been a few days," Selena answered, her voice tinged with a hint of contentment.

"She told me last night on the phone." Simi chimed in.
